Another channel, there is a man that paints rocks red with nail polish because it last longer than spray can and he puts the red rocks on toothpicks with cement glue and stick them all around his strawberry plants and the birds come down and pick on those hard rocks and it discourages them. Just a thought.
Sparrows and finches are my problem. They’re eating my broccoli, my lettuce seedlings and my cabbage and radishes. I want to kill them all. You try to grow your own food in desperate times as have to fight the daggone animals. I have a scarecrow and pie pans tied everywhere. It’s ridiculous! I’m about to cover the whole thing in floating row cover.
