Hi I was wondering if I can ask u a question I'm new to fishing live shrimp are minnows saltwater are fresh water and when u buy shrimp are minnows they come with water in a bag when u buy them do u have to put water from saltwater are fresh first then u drop the shrimp in them are minnows in the fresh water are saltwater just wondering are when u buy minnows are shrimp have them put alot of water and that's it my question

Does the water have to be salt water or it can be just tap water but dechlorinated?
