How to Kickflip on a Fingerboard - EASY WAY 

I remember I did one perfect on accident.

I can do a tre flip, hard flip, and varial flip but struggle to kick flip

I’ve always tried just moving front finger, the tip to use both really helped, thanks

i dont even know why im watching this ive known how to kickflip for like three years now lol

this video really helped alot, iv been into tech decks for ages and never knew how to do tricks, iv been practicing from this video and im getting better and better

IMPORTANT! For those who have tried everything and its still not working, I figured out a small detail I haven't heard in any tutorial and it totally fixed things for me. I've been trying to kickflip for 2 months and every time what would happen is the board goes vertical, spins too much, and does a half varial. Always wrong. But I realized it was because I was trying to do the "finger slide" movement from the exact moment I popped the board, without waiting. But what REALLY works is if you first pop the board neutrally, just like an ollie, then when you're at the top of the arc, slide your hand down and off the board diagonally to the left, like you've kind of apathetically given up on the ollie. It helps to angle your hand forward and down at this angle /, while the board is at this angle \, so your index finger is the only thing in contact with the board. When you do it like this, waiting until the top of the pop before initiating the kickflip slide, it evens the board out and you have a perfect kickflip! I'm so stoked haha so I hope this helps someone else who is having the same problem.

This vid definitely is valid 👌🏼 Ollie’s definitely help the process, you don’t need to have a perfect Ollie but feel comfortable doing one. Doing it off of a book or obstacle helps a lot more since you have more time to catch the board. After watching this video a couple of times I got a perfect kick flip in about an hour of trying. Keep in mind it might take a long time and you might be spending an hour straight not landing them but be patient and continue!!

What helped me the most for the kickflip is when I went up a ramp and popes it and slid my fingers it’s really nice to use to try the kickflip

Wow I can do it almost everytime now, a big part in learning a kickflip is knowing the type of fingers you have. Ex. Smaller index finger than your middle finger

I have always done Ollies with my fingers all the way to the outside , and when I moved my fingers to the middle of the board I was able to get the spin right.

how do i get high enough to do it like how do i make my ollie’s higher the highest i’ve got was like 1 cm

The way I do it is I build pressure on one side of the board and it makes it flip

I accidentally learned kickflip and now can do a quad kickflip on a old school tech deck

you haven't described the flicking motion, what do you have to do with your fingers to get it to flip

I normally pressure kickflip. Cant work out how you ollie so high. Cant front finger flip it. Hopefully you video helps.
