I find it strange that no matter how spotless you keep your home, there's always going to be bugs no matter what you do. Its like having a messy , freeloading roommate that comes out at night.
been five days now haven't seen r felt anything I'm so glad this can really drive someone crazy an have a nervous break down but I pray no one has to go through this it sux thanks for the videos an replays it helped me a lot
I find that a high quality vacuum with HEPA filter used regularly around every crack and seam is a very affective start above all, Then go over everything again with a decent steamer to penetrate deep and help get rid of any living remains, Steam can also replace nearly any chemical for cleaning and can help remove stains and wrinkles safely
these pest are driving me crazy!! i can no longer sleep i can never be in my room and if i do go in there all your gonna feel is bugs crawling on you I'm so sick of it
Can someone please let me know how you got rid of them?? I figured out I have them and I don’t wanna spend more than €500 euros for professional cleaners 😓
I look like a mfen tweaker at night searching for some mfen bed bugs I always thought it was just a bedtime saying (night night don't let the bed bugs bite) I'll kill a mfer now if they say that to me
If you see any walking around and want them dead without touching them ,get some sticky tape ,masking tape is cheap n works good .Cut a piece and slap it on the bugs , pull away the tape and fold over tape and get rid. Also use white sheets and bedding on your bed so they easy to identify.
I would not recommend hair dryer. I know some people might want to use it to blow on the gaps of the mattress and hopefully will kill the eggs or whatever is hiding inside. Maybe. but the majority of the eggs are probably blown away than killed.
Sad to say but you must realize how it started in your home, and keep and stay away from that place whether it's family or not. I got them through family having them in their home smh
I thought I had bed bugs and took advice from this video. I went out and got a steamer. Steam the hell out of my room. Turns out I had allergies and my skin was inflamed. It wasn't tiny little critters crawling all over me. My body is on fire and I can feel a fever coming. Fml. On the plus side, I don't have bed bugs.
I hope this video can stop me from burning my house down.. I curse who ever came and brought me these Mfs..i keep having to replace everything it's getting expensive..
I slept only 2 hours last night due to scratching and unable to sleep because of itchiness. Exaggeratedly scratching , i fell down from my bed and finally found the reason why i felt itchy so much all night long, its because of this damned bed bugs. Gahh.. i found one tho, but it kills my body at night . Demit bed bugs.
after I got that earth stuff I seen good signs thanks I will keep it in house at all times but still checkin an spraying everyday no matter what uugg horrible
Juss 213 it's 5 in the morning and I havent slept in days. I'll stay up with my flashlight waiting searching.. or keep the light on all night. Bites for weeks and I FINALLY found one a week ago but it wasn't an adult and it was during the day. That means theres more out there and if they're hungry they'll come out at any time. I've heard a neighbor say the apartment has bed bugs. So I was glad I moved in with an air mattress.....they can't hide on air mattress I check it everyday there's nothing to squeeze in or cling too. I just can't find their hiding spot. I miss sleep.
Omg same but I found one crawling near my head and I screamed So after I started researching and I see one crawling on the ground as I read about how they don't like perfumes and essential oils so I got my perfume and sprayed it once and it died so I went around my house spraying EVERYTHING and tomorrow I'm gonna vacuum my furniture and my whole house so hopefully it works
Do you think it's possible to make your own heat box to quarantine all of your clothes as a precaution just in case and two treat any potentially exposed items using one of those home steamer things and blocking off the holes??? Then putting a hot air source inside??? Or hot steam???
Definitely don't recommend building your own heating solution. Many building fires and injuries have been caused by DIY attempts at killing bed bugs with heat.
What about Diatomaceous Earth? I heard that power is very useful and works very well. I been trying to get ride of them with 91% alcohol and Pine-Sol. The alcohol words to a certain point. But they come back. What I'm looking for is a cheap way to get ride of them but also a way where they are gone for good. Any and I mean any help I would appreciate very very much.
Diatomaceous earth certainly does kill bed bugs, and is part of our recommended treatment solution. However, it kills very slowly and is only effective in certain areas, so it's not something you'd want to use on its own.
I saw a bug on me today I don’t know if it was a bedbug but If it is I just think I will have to just end my life I can’t even stay in a room with a roach
I think we had em as a little girl 50 yrs ago feel blessed i havent had em.. I got Scabies once..OMG. .horrific too.. I think my town was infested 20 yrs ago..
I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED BED BUGS BEFORE!, BUT I MOVED INTO A RENTED ROOM AND I AM BITTEN ON MY ARM. NOW I KNOW WHAT PEOPLE GO THROUGH?.... ITCH ITCH ITCH.........IF I MOVE AWAY? I NEED TO THROW AWAY ALL OF MY THINGS AND START ALL OVER. I NEED MY OWN PLACE NOW!.
+Silvia Diaz Bed bug bites usually take a few days to show on your skin. You may not react to the bites at all - about 1 in 5 people don't. They'll usually go away within about two weeks, but they can blister and mark your skin for longer if you scratch them.
Now the bad news - EVERY DAMN PRODUCT THAT WORKS is followed with this disclaimer: *Not for sale in AL, HI, NY, SD.* Only pest-control professionals are allowed to purchase/use them. (Unless you live in one of the other 46 states - which I don't.) God help us on fixed incomes.... because nobody else will! (But merry Christmas anyway.)
I just discovered I had them. Not sure where they come from but I'm scared. Ive had them for about a week according to my first bite. Can I just get rid of my mattress and comforter and get a new set?
It won't work I tried it before n they hide around you furniture n behind pictures frames n curtains u have to look for them n get rid of w.e they're on
Despite their name, bed bugs can be pretty much anywhere in your room. Not having a bed with covers and interceptors would be much worse, as it makes it super easy for bed bugs to reach you while you're sleeping.
@@icingcrystal2072 That's a great idea. Throw the mistress out with the mattress lol. Since she's the one that most likely brought the bed bugs from her house, starting with a new mistress & a new mattress is the best advise any one has posted on this video's comments.
Tired of dealing with Bed bugs for Months, I took a very important desition in regard of bed bugs, If they do not go away, I will Nowdat I'm living under a bridge
my family’s had bed bugs for two fucking years bc we can’t afford an exterminator and none of the home treatments have worked hahaha i wanna fucking die 🙃
I think I have bed bugs... getting bites around the pits, one inner thigh, groin, and then 2 on back.... looking at symptoms of bedbugs, it looks like multiple bites in a general area, but mine are not multiple, just larger single bites.
Ate they kind of oval shaped Cause if so u might have scabies I had scabies once They're little microscopic mites that crawl into ur skin And lay eggs but all u have to do is wash ur sheets and laundry and then get this kind of cream that u leave on overnight and I kills them But to find out exactly what it is go to a dermatologist Not the doctor bc I had them for 8 months and the doctors didn't know what it was then I went to a dermatologist and they told me it was scabies and gave me a prescription for the cream
phyco gurl support_81 please can you help me!! my mom bought this used madress and ive been itching on my skin and hair it feels like something is crawling omggg i get so traumatized can you help? what do i do
I think I might’ve brought home bedbugs in my suitcase. Stayed at a hotel, ugh now I have to watch loads and loads of how to get rid of bedbugs videos. 😭
My house is a mansion, yesterday i have ichy feeling on my legs, did some research and know about this bug for the first time. turn out EVERY SINGLE ROOM in my house have bedbugs... and there are 16 rooms for fuck sake. i can't tell parent because they probably start spreading from my room, because it's very dirty... now i learn my lesson
That might kill on contact but it would be easier to just smush the bug with your finger or a shoe at that point. You also risk burning or otherwise damaging whatever surface the bug is on with that hot iron.
Definitely not. You need to expose the bugs directly to at least 120 degrees for minutes at a time. No home heating solution is capable of safely maintaining that level of heat.
As long as the steamer puts out at least 40 PSI of steam pressure and reaches a tip temperature of at least 180 degrees at the tip, it should do the trick. There are a couple of dedicated bed bug steamers on the market that are super hot, super high pressure, and come with a high capacity boiler tank and specific features that the pros like.
now I'm told their mites not bedbugs but I have done the earth stuff now using spray for mites they r annoying also but no bites just feel stings u can barely see them but I can feel them on me in hair an clothes an pets yikes what to do I'm devastated an exhausted
thank you i was wondering what the heck am i battleing over here - you described it perfectly so beside each day throwing out stuff-flea powder and getting ready to steam clean carpet - i don't know where they came from but iam going to take my last breath trying to get rid of them.....DID YOU HAVE ANY SUCCESS IN YOUR WAR????? ANY ADVISE WOULD BE WONDERFUL.......iam in a recently moved into apt. and boy iam sure you know what that means now! who-what-when & where... thanks maureen
They can still be bedbugs. I thought I'd eliminated them for the cause of my bites at night(checked all obvious places) found nothing. Finally, 2 decided it'd be safe to stay in the bed, pulled it apart and found em. Thinking they're living in the cracks between the carpet and molding and that's where they typically return. I wouldn't rule them out at all.
You actually want to stay in your bed to prevent them from spreading and making treatment harder. If you act fast with encasements, interceptors, and other professional treatment tools, you can make your bed bed bug proof and sleep easy at night while you work on the rest of the area.
Mjayee. I just found out 4 doors down the lady had bug I can't sleep any more so I check my bed n lately I find small little apriders on my bed n I get bit but its. small bit
There's a significant risk of electrical fire with what you're describing. Many homes and buildings have been set ablaze in recent years by heat treatments gone wrong.
Hey kids. I pulled up this bed bug site and now I can’t get off of it. Can someone please tell me how I can get off and get to another site ? I’m stuck! Thanks!
Suddenly at 2 am I woke up feeling something crawling on my foot.turn on my ph torch and seen the insects looking like bed bug.i couldn't sleep properly after that.in the morning I have looked for nearly 2 hours but didn't find a single alive one(I found some dead skin of bed bug)..where the bloody hell are they hiding!..
What should you do if you seem to get rid of them, and they keep on coming back. We also have two cats :( Our landlord won't open up the rest of the building to us for pest control people...
depends on how big your building is i guess. personally i would not stay and live there. cause if many ppl live there and they don't all do what you do to help to eradicate them, they will just keep muliplying and spreading well every summer. IN winter, if its very cold there, basically if you don't over heat your place they should die. i'm sorry i can't advice you more as i don't really know your situation better. Its dreadful to have to live with this. My condolences, gl. But the cold will kill them also.gl
After your initial killing them off you have to go and do it all over again for the eggs/babies then two more weeks with reapply then that should be the end of them.

I've never had bed bugs before until I invited a friend over that does have bed bugs in his apartment should I not invite him in the apartment anymore now I'm seeing bed bugs in my bed but he's never been in my bedroom only walkthrough
If you see you see one, you have many of those little fuckers. He may of had bed bugs on his clothes when he came to your house, then hopped off when reaching your room.
If he sat on your furniture, and then you (obviously not knowing he had brought little unfriends with him!) sat after him, then the bugs probably hitched a ride on you right into your bedroom. You are going to have to find a tactful way to let him know that he has infected you, because think of what is happening with other people he has been going to visit. If you and he know the same people, but you don't have him over anymore, but you still invite over people that he has been going to visit, then they could bring the bugs to your home too. And then, what if you go to visit someone that your friend has been visiting, and you pick up bugs that he has taken over there, and bring them back home? Unless you alert this friend and your other friends about these bugs, your only other option is to cut off your circle of friends, because if they are not made aware of the problem, you will all be swapping these bugs back and forth like trading cards. Wishing you the best of luck!
What about a clothes steamer? I plan to use that to steam every crack and crevice of my mattress before I apply Bedlam Plus, then seal the mattress in the bed bug proof casing.
A clothes steamer might work, but you'll need to make sure that it's capable of putting out at least 180 degree steam with a pressure rating of at least 40 PSI.
Monica Soto Me rn i cant sleep bc im paranoid and always shake, and i cried alot today and my mom just said im depressed. wtf she bought the USED madress on my bed who started this shit! IM MOVING OUT IM SO DONE GETTING BIT OF THESE FUCKERS AND SHE DOESNT BELIEVE ME
The vast majority of pesticide ingredients don't cause allergic symptoms. If you can determine which ingredients cause a reaction, then you can avoid them by checking the product labels before purchasing.
Many people have worked around this issue by purchasing wooden blocks or moulding pieces from a hardware store and fitting those under the corners of the frame to act as makeshift feet. Then those feet can go into the ClimbUps.
Found a bed bug crawling in my bed, and flushed it down my toilet. I checked around my matress and didn't find anything, and I've never been bitten before. My mother has though, and she found a nest in her room and covered her matress with matress covers and tapes. I washed all her stuff, and washed mine. She sleeps in my room now, and we checked around our mattresses to make sure if we had any, and now about three weeks after she covered her matress I found one just now.
Laura Lopez no problem. Since the bed bug problem we ended up moving from our apartment. We got rid of our bed as bad as it sounds, my mother wasn't willing to dedicate herself to fixing it. We washed all our clothing and packed it in plastic bags. We also washed all our bedsheets over, and soaked our beds. We didn't take much, only beds and clothes (moving with someone else) and since then we haven't seen any. I wish not to ever because I do think my mom would not care enough about the problem to spend money in it, and I'd be forced to live with bed bugs. That's just how my mother is.
Food grade diatomaceous earth helps. Enclosing pillows, bed mattresses and box springs with bed bug proof coverings. Put those things (shown in video) under feet of bed. Bed bug spray. Raid has one out. That's just some suggestions.
Just found out that we possibly have bed bugs in our apartment!! So not happy about any of this, but looking for some cheap effective ways to kill them right away, and going to be washing everything tomorrow with HOT water. This is so not what i wanted to deal with!!!
Water boils at 212 degrees and cools very quickly when removed from the heat source. If you splash boiled water around, it'll likely be below 180 degrees by the time it hits the surface. That means it's not guaranteed to kill bed bugs on contact, let alone kill any hiding beyond the surface of the materials you splashed. Not a very effective method.
I've found two in my apartment since last night. One in a closet, one on my couch. I'm am freaking out. I have three cats and 12 hermit crabs. What can we use that is safe?
All of our products are generally safe for pets as long as you follow the product label and MSDS, as they contain important instructions for safe usage.
I was just telling my son out of all the years I've been in this world I've never heard of a bed bug up until the last few years. however they got here in this world witch I think is by man but they are real and a pain in the ass. if heat kills them then why not steam treat your belongings in the home then turn your heat up to max for a few days that should work right?
Homes are rarely insulated well enough to let every crack and crevice hit 120 degrees. That's also very dangerous, risking electrical shorts, fires, or carbon gas exposure.
