the reason it takes so long to get rid of your ringworm its because you need a stronger antifungal cream. lotrimin is not strong enough nowadays. lamisil is the stronger version of lotrimin. apply lamisil to your ringworm and it should be over in less than a week
I had ringworm for many weeks I couldn’t get rid of it I tried many products in desperation I used household bleach and immediately the ringworm was gone. This is what I did 1 tablespoon household bleach 1 table spoon water use a cotton bud dab the mixture into the ringworm and wait for three minutes then wash off with clear water.

Put selenium sulfide shampoo from walmart on and let it sit for ten minutes. Then rinse let dry well. Then spray Lamisil spray all on and around the whole area plus 6 inches in all directions around it so it can’t spread. Do this every night and it will be gone in about 3 weeks tops. It’s annoying but it works. Also wash sheets weekly and don’t wear the same clothing item two days in a row. Wash towels good too.
selsun shampoo with 2% selenium sulfide or more, also selsun double impact work well too, applied it for 15 minute or more without water on the infected area and around them. stay using them for 2x a day or if can't just use them 1x for 30 minute before rinsing and drying it. after it was gone use it atleast once a week like using soap on your entire body, max 3x a week.

I washed my hair every day & allowed it to air dry. There were MANY day when it was't completely dry in the back, but I'd just get up the next day & wash it again (including keeping the conditioner in). Changed conditioner one month ago, started scratching one spot on my scalp, but it got worse each day. I assumed I was having an eczema outbreak or shingles, but I've never had it in the scalp. My neck & scalp started to hurt, so I applied Bragg apple cider vinegar directly to the area & it burned really bad. I continued to wash my hair but mixed apple cider vinegar, olive oil, tree tea oil, & castor oil in a spray bottle & used it as a conditioner - washed it out the next morning (back to air drying). The side effects MANY - confusion (I forget what I'm talking about in mid sentence), joint pain (suffered leg cramps in both legs while walking dog & didn't think I'd make it home on 9/29/17), arms feel like they weigh a TON, insomnia, dizziness, headaches, tingling/creepy crawly sensations on skin, weird breathing pattern (not constant), loss of appetite (only good thing!), itching on other parts of the body, fatigue, stomach pain, a strange sensation behind my ears (as if I've eaten a lemon & get that weird sensation), & sensitivity to sunlight. I had blood work done during my doctors appointment to make sure my liver was functioning well; this medicine is known to cause liver damage (if taken for a long time). I go back in a few days for additional blood work to make sure it's still functioning well. My scalp (one spot) is healing but the side effects of this medication are AWFUL! I must complete the 30 day process to make sure the ringworm is gone, but I'm only on day 5 & hope things get better. If they don't, I will speak to my doctor about it. I'm assuming I contracted Tinea Capitis by not allowing my hair to dry completely (fungus grows in wet/damp areas) or the change in conditioner. Regardless of how I got it, it's a pain in the @$$! 9/30/17 @ 4:19P CST.

I have been suffering with this for over a year. Coconut oil is another way but takes long . Salicylic acid antiseptic power may help but yes u need to visit doctor. don;t delay it.
Yes although it is really expensive so I just got Holista Tea Tree & Vitamin E cream and it seems to work ok and it was about 65% cheaper and I could get it at a nearby drugstore. Bragg's apple cider vinegar. mix one ounce with about half ounce of water, mix and apply. You may need to add more vinegar. Keep applying twice or three times daily til the rash is gone. Also, witch hazel is really helpful. Always wash area s 1st
