How to KNIT a BABY HAT

Thanks for the tutorial. Pretty easy. I think I must have counted wrong because when I switched from the band of the hat to the body, I found that the wrong side was on the outside of the hat. In the end I just turned it inside out and everything worked and it’s cute!

ive only got a 4mm circular needles - do i need to alter the amount of cast on sts? ie I'm making for a 10 month old thanks

After every row of the brim do I do two pearls or just on the first row??

Idk how the band on mine ended up with extra on small part but it look odd , I wish I knew how to fix it but guess I’ll be starting over 😢

Do you count the cast-on slip knot as a stitch? If so, then aren't you taking it down from 36 to 35 (I'm doing the bigger size) stitches when you P 2 together in the brim and then the 1x1 pattern breaks when you start the next row? I'm struggling with the brim and it keeps happening at this junction. I bought the written pattern to be sure, but it keeps happening. If you repeat K1 P1 don't you need an even number? Thanks for any suggestions! I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong...
