How to knit a Cable Beanie Hat | Sentro Addi King Prymm Knitting Machine | quick and easy

In this step by step tutorial I will show you how to make a cabled beanie on the Sentro Knitting Machine but these steps will work on most circular knitting machines including the Addi King.
Pattern basics:
Strips - Cast on 7 stitches, Knit 100 rows
Brim - Cast on 28 stitches, Knit 100 rows
Attach strip 1 at needles 3 and 7, Attach strip 2 at needles 8 and 12. Cross the strips at rows 14, 28, 42, 56, 70, 84 and 98
The hat - Join brim into tube and attach to the machine, knit 30 rows
Cast off and finish in the normal way.

I think it would be much easier to put the stitches back onto a couple of knitting needles to do the Kitchener stitch. More stable. This cable has me very intrigued, I must have a try. Great tutorial, thank you ❣️🌹

Maybe try making the headband part then making a short hat in the normal manner then grafting the 2 together?

"Quick and easy" ???? Il n'y a rien de facile là dedans... C'est au contraire périlleusement difficile, un vrai casse tête chinois !!! Cette machine ne m'inspire pas du tout, à moins d'être mathématicienne ou d'une habilité hors norme !

Sorry to hear that. Maybe try another channel. My projects are on the more intermediate side and this one is on the quick and easy side for me. There are lots of channels out there for beginners.
