It was great seeing Carlos crying with laughter, hearing Eric and the staff in the background! Arne, you just keep being you and making us all laugh! Seriously, though, gorgeous sweater. You will wear it magnificently!
Oh yes I forgot to mention the sweater, it is fine art and the inside was SO beautifully done you could wear it inside out at least at first glance. The design and full spectrum colors are stunning!
Now I can't unsee Arne as a sausage on a plate with mayonnaise and ketchup....encased in his "tight" sweater 🤣🤣 Thanks fellas, I wasn't expecting such a fun start to my Sunday morning!
Arne, your sweater is a masterpiece. Not everyone could put colours and patterns together in such a pleasing way. Can't wait to see you stuffed into it in a future episode. Knit on!
Me again! Brilliant... i am 74 yrs. TODAY and learned something new again!!! In my youth,, i worked in a local yarnshop and "finishing" was my specialty!!! Your work is just beautiful...
I’m listening with my headset and my hubby and daughter don’t know why I’m laughing and have tears running down my face. Ya’ll are o wonderful. Hang in there Eric, loved your laughter.
Oh my goodness, Arne is just hilarious!! Seeing Carlos cry with laughter was such a treat and hearing the others in the background also. Just as fast, Arne's firm grasp on the situation took hold (probably from his teaching background) and everyone settled down to the task at hand.😊 Loved the picot edging. This podcast is unforgettable so I will remember to come back to it for a refresher. 🥰
@@ARNECARLOS I forgot to mention how gorgeous the sweater is! That's the thing, the video was so funny one forgets to mention the main star - Arne's sweater!
I'm so glad you decided not to edit out the "stuffed sausage" laughter! Laughter is contagious and I'm still smiling. And that sweater is beautiful! Such talent. Enjoy your well deserved vacation.
Arne your sweater design is beautiful, look forward to seeing you wearing it. The colours and patterns are fantastic. Thanks you both for your entertaining blending in with your talents. 👍❤️😊
I was crying right along with you,Carlos. 😂😂 Laughter is contagious! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and humor with us. Your sweater is gorgeous, Arne!
I had never connected Arne's pronunciation of "chart" with the word "shart;" that was amazing and I thank you for the enlightenment. Arne, your English is fluent and musical, don't listen to anyone say otherwise! The whole episode was perfect - loved seeing Carlos in happy tears and Arne's teacher side come out after the hilarity to settle everyone down to focus on knitting! Nice work, all :)
I'm an English professor, and I'm in AWE of Arne & Carlos's fluency. My IQ drops by 100 points when I try to speak another language. I know Carlos was originally the more confident English speaker, but Arne's English slang is a particular delight and a sure sign of his fluency! His friend & mine Virginia Woolf would surely agree. This video is a HOOT. Just what I needed.
Oh my gosh I have not laughed this hard in a long while over Arne as a sausage. Beautiful sweater. Carlos when you started laughing so hard you cried I was right with you.
This was a fun episode. I laughed because Carlos laughed. Too funny. Plus we got to see we aren’t the only people to get yarn barf occasionally. Thanks
The funniest thing is - what Arne says is just perfectly ok! When I’ve shrunk a sweater or when a kid grows, I (or the kid), too, feel like a stuffed sausage. But I love the way it hit everyone’s funny bone. More please. Arne, I’ve said before - I love the lilt in your pronunciation. “Pattern” with your beautiful “T” sound is just as it ought to be said - we are lazy and end up saying “paddern” - ugh! And “chart,” with its hard “ch” sounds lovely when you say it “shart” (and the closed caption translates it as “shark.”). What is wrong with that? We want to hear your Norwegian voice, not our English-as-first-language voices. Carry on, kids, and more laughing please. Also, can’t we have Erik and Anna in front of the camera sometime? Happy birthday Arne. Xoxoxo
I think Arne and Carlos speak Englidh better than a lot of English people! Their grammar and pronunciation is far more pleasant than a lot of native speakers these days. I'm not talking about regional accents, I have a heavy northern accent, but the slang and gangsta language that bears little relation to actual english xXx
@@hippimummy Agree. I’m not sure why they even consider it an issue. Equally charming is the occasional search for a vocabulary word, usually with the Norwegian one mentioned by Arne and translated by Carlos. That’s just normal course-of-business stuff. We all do that…
Oh how fun this was ! Seeing Carlos laughing so much he cried ! Love it. It's FUN to laugh that hard! Good for the soul. And that sweater....oh my goodness Arne....it looks fantastic.
This is one of the most beautiful jumpers I have ever seen in my entire life. And I hope one day, when I have a lot of time, and hopefully more patience, I will make one for myself with my leftover yarn.
Arne always makes me laugh as he is so mischievous and Carlos always tries to be so serious. A good laugh does wonders for the soul in my opinion! Next time I see a sausage, I shall think of Arne... The sewing of seams on a sewing machine gives a much flatter finish as the thread is thinner than the wool. I like the picot edge on the neckline because there is less bulk when you turn it over. Have a wonderful week everyone.
The uncontrolled laughter made my day. I look forward to seeing Arne in the beautiful sweater...and for some reason I feel like having sausage for dinner 😆
My Father used to laugh so hard, tears would run down his face. When he laughed like that, we would all start to laugh. This video reminded me of those happy days....
You both are amazing and such masters of your craft... Arne, I can't wait to see you in your fabulous sweater. Carlos, I loved how hard you laughed... I laughed so hard with you both.
Oh, I was hoping you would never learn shart has another meaning! I love hearing Arne saying it! Looking forward to seeing Arne (or even Carlos) in this gorgeous sweater!
Happy Birthday Arne!!!!!! Cannot begin to tell you what JOY you both provide to those of us lucky enough to be watching. Have a wonderful Summer break! Ginny
I thotoughly enjoyed watching you knit the piot stitch. It was best with you and Arne laughing. It's like you get tickled about something in a place you are not suppose to laugh and you cannot stop. Those are the best laughs. The sweater is pretty well done Arne.
Arne and Carlos, thanks for sharing your laughter, after a tough day the timing was perfect! I hope all is well with the two of you and your families. Arne, don't worry, there will never be a sausage as good looking as you in that stunning sweater, you will look like a wonderful piece of art! PS: Arne, sending you Birthday wishes from Vancouver, Canada.
You two are nuts--and I mean that in the nicest possible way. I should watch this for a few minutes every day to put a smile on my face after reading the daily news. Take care.
Oh my goodness, you two are such a joy! I, too, was laughing till I cried! Your laughter and joy is contagious !! The sweater is so beautiful. I love all the colors and look forward to seeing you wear it. I think your english is perfect, Arne. Whenever I am baking now and get to the flour, I think back to the episode where you said "Flour, Flowers are in the garden, Flour is a funny word." I would agree, it is a funny word! As always, thank you for brightening my day! You two are the best!! 😀❤️
Thanks for the laugh guys. It did my heart good to hear the whole team break down in uncontrolled laughter. Arne’s ability to describe something in English perfectly draws a picture in my mind. I so admire your talent. The balance between Arne & Carlos totally works.
Hi Arne, hello Carlos. The sausage sweater is awesome. I love the pattern and colour changes. Love watching you knit Arne, the yarn looks soft and giving, lovely. You gave me a good laugh tonight. Your videos are always entertaining. Happy knitting guys xxx
I think this episode and the episode with Arne quoting ABBA songs are my favourites. Love seeing you both laugh and enjoying yourselves. I do think the picot gives a nice finish to your sweater.
I just love watching you interact with each other, and in the same time I learn soo much! For example the usage of a sewing machine, I never would of dare, and I sew myself, besides of knitting and crochet. You make everything so effortless and easy! Thank you!
I was literally crying laughing along with you. Thankyou for an unexpected giggle today. You and Kate at The Last Homely House are two of my favourite you tubers. How funny is it that I live not too far away from Kate, in the Lake District, Cumbria, but I found her through two knitters from Norway! Such a small world, I thank you for that xXx
@@pennypark9070 isn't it wonderful that people can meet each other via people from other countries! We're close but it takes two knitters from Norway for us all to discover each other xXx
I love what you are knitting, i wish you had been my teacher, your knitting is stunning i love the colours. love to you both, i love all your videos they are fantastic. Love and hugs to your dogs.
