This video changed my life, and I understand, not just the machine, but knitting itself. First off I was casting off one little stitch at time. So thank you for that. The big revelation was the bars in between stitches. I always worked with that wonky edge. anyway thank you so much.

My mother loved to wear shrugs which kept her back and arms warm. But hers didn’t come along the front. She literally just shrugged into it and the back was bigger. I don’t know any other way to put it. I think if you did something similar but you seamed one of the portions all the way you could just slip it on behind you and you wouldn’t have to slip it over your head. Just a thought. I remember she used to have them out of mohair and they would end elbow lengths. They were so pretty and soft looking and I’m sitting here with my back and arms cold and wishing I had one.🥶
