Just came by your very informative and really clear tutorial, I will have a go at making the pumpkin and thank you for taking the time to spread your talent to others.
thank you, so many other patterns are so complex. I like some knitting patterns that are "do and watch tv, or even chat, or even in the car....." And the finished product is so lovely and a great gift. I've been sending a to of fun gifts out as I haven't been able to visit my friends. This is SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT, so low cost and much happiness I am sure upon receiving these pumpkins! I'm ready to start, and why stick to orange?? Looking in my scrap pile now!
Oh my gosh this is such a great tutorial! So easy to follow and quick, and I was hoping to find one on straight needles! The circulars was getting too confusing. Thanks so much!
Gina, I was wanting to leave a comment on your website for the Colorblock beanie, but see no place to join your site so I can comment. I don’t see a place to email, either. How can I contact you about the hat pattern?
Just curious, I've never seen anyone knit with their ring finger. Are you just trying to keep your hands clear in the video? Lovely pumpkin thanks Gina.
I'm looking forward to making a crochet pumpkin but since i've never, ever crocheted, i am completely new to all the stitches and knots. It is very hard for me to realize those 20 stitches you made and all the purls and rows. Could somebody tell me the name of the stitches and purls in this video, so i could watch a tutorial on how to make them?
I tried knitting this pumpkin…..it looks so different from yours! Mine is the exact same on both sides, yours looks like there is a wrong side and a right side! I knitted 4 rows, then purled 1 row, just like your video…what did I do wrong????
that depends on the thickness of your yarn, the person in this video looks like they followed the 4 knit 1 purl technique 8 times but it may take more for thinner yarn
