I would knit two hearts , join them together and fill with dried lavender , and pop the heart under your pillow for a good nights soothing , blissful sleep !! Thank you for sharing .

I've done three of these babies yesterday! The first time, forget it, but the other two times, I got it! I'm now working on a third one, this time without the video! I love it! I'm going to experiment with different size needles and maybe make them a little larger, too. This is so addictive! So much fun!

Thank you for sharing such a sweet little pattern. Simple enough for a beginner. I've made three with a small needle. Because they were handy. After watching the second time I realize I'd made mistakes on the curved portion. Will correct my err. Thanks again.

😮 That’s magic, I need this right now! I have been knitting very simple things off an on for about 12 years and avoided increase and decrease because for me it was too complicated to learn and so I only ever did basic flat shapes and used my sewing skills to make things look better. Lol My New Year’s resolution is to learn increase and decrease and I think this is a brilliant way to learn. Thank you for a clear video where we can actually follow your hand movements and read clear instructions. Great tutorial I am grateful. ❤

When increasing , I always increase into first stitch , like you do , but then knit to last two stitches , increase again into first of two stitches and always knit the ladt stitch , this gives a more assemetric finish , ie., even on both sides , looks neater and if you knit first and last stitch of every row , also gives a neat finish , and much easier to sew up , as you have knobbles at row ends , easy to put your darning (blunt) needle through each knobble on either side of your knitted garment , making it an easier and less boring task 😊😊😊😊😊😊

Hi Amy - what you need to do, is cast on one stitch (using whichever method you like) and then you knit into the front and back of that stitch. That gives you three stitches. Then you turn, and knit those three. It feels a bit funny when you knit into the front and back of just one stitch on the needle, but it's just a normal increase. I hope that helps you!! Hi Ashlee, I think the best plan is to go up a few needle sizes and yarn - so try with a super chunky and 10mm needles! You could try repeating the second round again, just to see how it goes, but I haven't tried it. Kindest, Merion and the LoveCrafts team x

Yes of course you can!🥰 it might end up slightly different as different size needles will create either a tighter or looser tension but you can always give it a go and experiment. Happy making!

As it is a small piece, an extra stitch might slightly affect the symmetry but you can always cast on another one :) More hearts the better! Happy making, Sarah at LoveCrafts

What do the K1, SSK etc mean?

Hi Stefania, K1 means knit one - and SSK means slip, slip, knit, which is a way to decrease a stitch. If you follow along the video, you can see how to do them! Lots of love from Merion and the LoveCrafts team x
