Ppl this is for people who DON'T know how to do knotless braids. Yes, obviously if you already know how to do knotless braids then this technique may seem more complicated but this is to help people who don't know or haven't mastered the feed in method that is used in knotless braids. No need to keep leaving comments saying that it's complicated, possibly discouraging those looking for alternative methods to still obtain this look. It's complicated to you because you know how to do it the real way but for those who do not, this method is a great alternative to still achieve the desired look.
Exactly. It’s literally crocheting hair and then braiding it, it only looked complicated because she was trying to section it in order to blend the hair to where the rubber band isn’t showing but this is easy as cake.
This is the one|first method I’ve seen that I can say my braid won’t slip out. I’m actually going to try it today. & it’ll only seem complicated for a first timer (this way) but if you wanna do something trust you gonna make it happen ladies lol 🌸🙏🏾☺️
I believe I can do this now 🤗 I'm almost excited to try. I've watched videos where ppl have cut out the rubberband because it was showing. This video is wonderful for a novice
The most difficult thing in braiding is the gripping part, this is simple because it allows you to start plating since the rubber band gives it the stability as if you were to grip the hair plus the braiding hair. Thanks so much for this tutorial! ❣️
Idk why people saying this is difficult or it’s to much, I literally can’t do attachment braids and this is the easiest method I’ve seen, thank you so much 😊
If you have the kind of hair that doesn’t last long in knotless braids, but you LOVE the knotless look, this video is definitely for you! From beginning to end I loved this video. Straight to the point. No pointless talking. Yet still very informative.
This was the best tutorial I've seen on how to do this method so far. The way yiu do it is so clear and, I love how you showed how to add the hair to the braids ad you're braiding down!🙌🏽
I’m a great braider and I have no problem doing knotless on other people. I can do jumbo knotless on myself, but for some reason I can’t master smaller knotless braids on myself. For me…this method actually worked and it wasn’t complicated. It was actually a lot easier since you don’t have to feed in as much
Am I only one that thinks it looks simple, crochet two pieces of braiding hair, take one of the four sections and split in three, finally braid.....whats so complicated
It's not complicated. All you're doing is crotcheting the braiding hair through your hair, then you tuck your own hair within the braiding hair, after that you start braiding. It'll give you the knotless look but will last longer than traditional knotless braids.
Exactly thank you! It more worthwhile especially since it lasts longer and is thick enough from the start of the braid compared to knotless adding hair making it thicker in the middle jus not consistent ya know lol
I like how detailed you are with demonstrating. I can't do the knotless braiding for nuthin but I think I can with this method. I'm going to try one day soon. Tfs!
This is not complicated. This is a great method for ppl with a different texture or for ppl who have a hard time gripping their hair. Also you don’t have to add the hair as you are braiding I think she did that to make her braids longer. I just tried to do my own box braids and wish I had seen this video first. Anyways I’m trying this this weekend. Thanks for the video

U beast thanks for not doing all the talking just getting straight to it for people like me who struggle to pay attention to all the life stories .....I just want visuals in detail ...just like how you did THANKS SIS LOVE YA 💕
This is amazing, the angle, lighting, zoom, AND slow down!!! I am definitely going to try this because I STRUGGLE HARD with root attachment so your method might actually work for me.
thank you and if you are planning on doing jumbo braids u can do this method it's faster. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ciXhsgB69IU.html
I agree with you, at times I struggle with root attachment as well, especially since I have light carpal tunnel on my right wrist, this method makes it more easier on my hands to not have to grasp it so much, the rubber method does hold better/longer, especially on the edges, by accidentally weighting too much tension on the hairline.
AMAZING VIDEO 👏👏👏👏 OMG I cannot start a braid to save my life and not only did you make it easy to do that but you showed us how to do the fire in style knotless braids AND how to extend the braid in slow mo! What! Amazing! Definitely gonna do these now. This is one of the best RU-vid tutorials hands down! Thanks sis! ✊🏾😍❤
I love this video because I'm more of a visual learner and I get irritated by people talking too much during the tutorial. I understood everything perfectly! Thank you ❤️
Thank you for a simple tutorial! I wanted to get braids this month but the woman I wanted to go to is booked for several weeks so I’ll be doing it myself. I can’t wait to try this ❤
This was the best! Thank you for making this tutorial! It really helped me a lot! I have short hair and am not a braided! This meant a lot to us strugglers!!! Thankkssssss ❤️❤️❤️ and don’t worry about these hateful comments from people! Their spirits ain’t right and their hearts ain’t pure! But while the enemy working, God got you because guess what... all that interaction as your video popping up more on people’s suggested videos!! Hahaha!! GOD BLESS YOU young Queen ✨🌙😍🕊
You’re literally just crocheting hairs in and braiding it tho… It seemed complicated because she was trying to make sure the rubber band was well hidden.
Your video is the best I’ve seen for doing rubberband method. I didn’t see not one rubberband and i might have to watch this four-five times before i get it down pack. Great job 👏
The best video I've seen thus far! Thank you for helping us folks that would ordinarily be unable to do this! I've never understood anyone's lesson on adding in hair until now! New subbie here!
Thank you! I should be able to do this. Love how close up you got with feeding the hair in! I always can't catch people fingers when they are feeding hair in.
Omg yay I needed this!! I did the rubber band method for twists but my hair is nearly waist length and frizzed out of the twists way too quickly 😭 gonna redo the style with braids instead today, just needed to see how to start it
I really appreciate you for posting this video I was looking up ways to crochet my hair because it is so short and I want to grow it out this seems like a very easy method thank you
This was very informational informative and you did a great job because I'm trying to braid my hair right now myself and everyone is moving too fast and I can't figure out how to do it but this was pretty easy thanks
It probably looks like a lot but she is showing how to do knotless braids with rubber band method without showing the rubber band. Looks so darn easy I must try... Thank you 😊
Idk how to do box braids, I figured this would be an easy way to start, I want to do this method on my daughter’s hair. It doesn’t look complicated at all. Thank you so much for sharing!
I can do the knotless braids just fine without the rubberband...but I honestly like this method more, it seems like the style will look fresher longer in the roots...I love this method and can't wait to try it
I have always been into cosmetology. I learned it all from hair to nails to makeup to styling. Well part of that for me is teaching myself how to work with ALL types of people , different things for different face shapes/ styles and ethnicities ect. I hope to own a full blown spa and salon one day, so as a white female I knew it was very important to learn to work properly with ALL TYPES OF HAIR
Then maybe you're wrong about catching on stuff quickly🤠it's literally rubber the root of the parted hair, pass some attachment under the rubber band pass another one. Separate one of the 4 ends into 3 and share it then broad. It's not hard girlie
