I wanna say thank you for making this video, I’ve been asking myself about who I am for a while now and couldn’t find a good path to discovery, but I think I found it in your words. I am a scientist, I’m going to start school properly soon for biology and ecology, and I’ve felt like that pushed back against ideas I have and you’ve helped me down a path to see that they don’t have to conflict with each other. I’ve always believed since I was young that spirituality and religious idealism should be deeply personal and to hear that echoed by you to an extent in the mannerism or finding ones path really helped. I don’t know who or what I’ll be on the other side of this road but I already feel a lot better for being shown the path to start it. Thank you ☺️

I was raised Episcopalian. As I got older, I tried Baptist & Pentacostal(sp). It never fit. I always felt like I was on the outside looking in. My ex-wife discovered Wicca in 2000 & I read some of her books & I felt a shift in me. It's taken 20+ years to discover my path. I've been an eclectic grey witch for a few years now. I have memories of actually pretending to be a witch as a child. If a friend had hurt himself I'd grab leaves crush them and place it on their little scrape and I'd put my hands on the area and say some incantation and wrap toilet paper around it. I just have these memories of my childhood now. I'm definitely a dreamer, intuitive and I sense peoples feelings and intentions. Im still learning.

this was very helpful especially the part about crafting your unique path. i’m someone who likes things to be clear so originally when first diving into everything i wanted to pick a label & stick with it so i resonated with the green witch path & with my sun being virgo it fit even more but with more mindful thinking at my core i’m very much an introvert, finds great importance with my personal spaces, & am a creative so the cottage witch just started making more sense too. anyway this video helped give me more confirmation that i don’t need to be so specific all the time & this will help give me my most authentic path so i may end up pulling from green witch practices as well as others & that’s ok.

Okay, I know this video is quite old, but this really helped me understand more about what I want to get into. The problem is I have no idea where to start, I however have been interested in supernatural activities ever since I was little. I feel like that was my calling but I’m not 100% sure. I feel that my ancestors practiced hoodoo my grandma on my dad side is superstitious believes in luck and another thing she does that I really think that someone in my ancestory practiced a form of magick. My grandma use to comb her hair and the shedding of her hair she used to burn the these sheddings in a little pot. I don't know if she still does that.

Fun fact; there’s possible scientific backing for the existence of spirits. Because energy never ends/disappears, don’t our emotions create energy or something? What about all the energy we carry in us when we die, that energy doesn’t go away. So maybe all those “Ghost sightings” were true, and they were remaining energy of what once was, and maybe ir someone dies spiteful, the energy of the anger manifests into an evil spirit? Ok so know this is probably kind of long but please bear with me. I dont normally comment on things but I really dont have anyone I can go to for advice on this. I have had a few experiences with the supernatural since I was very young and even believe I have met one of my spirit guides or guardian angels. I am also highly intrigued by like herbal and crystal workings as well as dream meanings, palm readings and just generally want to learn everything about everything. I dont really know where to begin as far as what kind of witch I am or what deity I should worship because I know I believe there is a higher power if not multiple higher powers. Since I was little all of these have interested me and I have always been interested in like greek gods and goddesses. I also learned I can read auras and am very in tune with people's emotions that are around me and that my dreams almost always have a true/realistic meaning or prediction to them. I'm going through some spirituality questioning, I guess. I feel drawn to the craft and have always believed in magical. The religion I grew up in (and my family still heavily practices) taught witchcraft is evil and anything not of god is of the devil. I feel like I'm a hypocrite if I continue on that path because I don't feel like my faith is genuine. Do I want a get out of hell card or do I truly believe? All this to say, I'm meandering through all these questions and seriously looking into becoming a witch. I feel like I've always been drawn to it. Okay I have a question. I been feeling like something spiritually is missing and I have been having signs that's drawing me closer to believe I may be. Does this mean I am and what should I learn??

I was brought up Catholic and now consider myself to be Wiccan although find myself without spiritual direction. I've heard a few people in my life having what they called miracles that cannot be explained. Not all of these people were Catholic or Christian yet all of them professed it was because of their religion that made it possible. I too, have felt a spiritual presence in my life and have heard spirits speak while I was still practicing Christianity. These were not miracles or magical occurrences, they were spiritual. Anyone can have spiritual experiences. When you talk of "having" or "creating" magic as unnecessary to be a witch or being of the Wiccan faith, that is so true. I have never had or performed "magic" as a Christian yet considered myself as always being Christian growing up. It's all about faith, exactly as you say with Wiccans. I left my Catholic and Christian faith for two reasons. First, what I realized above. The second, is the way politics have crept into the teachings of the clergy. There's nothing more conflicting to someone than hearing a Catholic priest telling his congregation that it's OK to vote for "X" candidate even though he believes in abortion. Also being a history enthusiast I see similar actions of pre-Christianity and today's Christianity with just a different name on it. I look forward to exploring yours and others thoughts and teachings of Wiccan faith.

I've had spirits scream my name and I was able to see them for just a moment, my dreams come to life(the ones I remember), and I can feel other people's emotions...so what does all this mean?

i always thought i wasn't a witch cause i don't believe in gods and goddesses and we all see everyone else believing in gods and goddesses (this goes back to prehistory, humans can't not worship things). but i know i'm different in a certain way (not that i think i'm special, i just) have a strong intuition, i know when people lie to me, i can read people in general when they interact with me with no need to read body language of them, I just know things others don't (which I still can't quite understand), also people suddenly start telling me things, as if I were a psychologist or something lol I'm sure I'm an empath because I feel what people feel, sometimes the environment it's suffocating. I love plants, planting, harvesting, mixing herbs too, what I like most when it comes to plants, is making medicines, teas, etc. I have no talent for divinations, I got a tarot from someone as a gift but I have no clue how to read or enjoy having one, so I don't know what to do with it, I think I'll leave it as a decor, because someone told me not to throw away or not give it to someone else as a gift.

Everytime i have a undeniable feeling to look at the clock exactly at 11:11 and i KNOW something is going to happen or sometimes i see something i saw in a dream...i love reading and sometimes i read a sentence in a dream and then see it in real life...and everytime it feels like my chest is enclosing like a rock is smack dab in the centre when i realise i actually saw it...my mother could see ghost and speak with them...she could do palm reading and tea in a cup reading. Hey, if folks in church could swear they speak in tongues, then anything goes. It kinda reminds me of John Lennon's song " Whatever gets you thru your life is alright ".
