How to know if your thermostat is bad ?  

My manager locked my temp on 68 how do I unlock that temp so it can be colder?

So if I turn off my heat and air off....and the house temperature still reads 71 after being at work for 9 hours while it is 40 outside what is likely wrong

So thermostats have nothing to do with cooling our home,,, i had my entire a/c system replaced almost two years ago with a new one , my old system was already here when I bought this old house and it did god for the 13 years i been here until two years ago started having issues specially during winter time and decided to replace it,,, first year was all good , this summer seems like it’s nod doing well keeping us kool , it’s a Lennox 1.5 ton but doesn’t seem to do it’s job when replacing the unit i asked for a 2 ton unit but was told a 1.5 was what I needed , what should I do or will need a bigger unit?

Thanks for the video. I am having an issue where when I turn the heat off and then on, the furnace heats up to the requested temperature. The issue is once the temp drops below the requested temp, the heat doesn't kick back on to heat the house back up. I am thinking this is more a thermostat issue rather than a furnace thing. What do u think?

Have a question...my AC unit is blowing cold air out the vents..it's currently 105 outside and the vents are blowing around 55 degrees ..but my AC won't shut off ..it's comfy in my house and I have the AC set to 74 but the thermostat is showing it's 83 ..is this a thermostat problem u think? The current thermostat is a digital one and is currently around 11 years old..not sure how long they last..I just don't wanna burn my system up because it won't cycle to 74 degrees

Why does my ac thermostat only turn on after it gets 2 degrees hotter in the house shouldn't it turn on after it gets 1 degree hoter than the set temperature you have your ac on?

My thermostat says it’s 90 degrees when it’s actually freezing in here! I can’t get the heat to come on. I have tried to reset it twice but it keeps saying it’s 90 degrees in my house but it’s really cold!! What can I do?

I got that same thermostat I set it at cooling 65 and after 30-45 min it shuts off and sets it to 85 what can be the problem ?
