I have the exact same story. I can relate to every, single word you wrote, here. It's such a difficult thing to go through because on one hand, I feel incredibly grateful for every moment he and I had together, and for all the learning and growth that resulted. On the other hand though, it is so heartbreaking and frustrating to have lost that bond (in the physical world). It's a balance and, sort of, back and forth that I regularly struggle with. Is this something you can relate to as well?

@@Energy-Alchemy I completely understand what you’re saying. In a couple weeks it will be the 7 year anniversary of Mike’s passing. I can’t believe it has been 7 years. Just like how you were explaining on one hand it feels like it was yesterday that he was alive and we were planning our life together. I can still feel our connection. On the other hand when I think about all the pain and suffering, all the tears…it feels like an eternity. Here’s my take on it. We are spiritual beings having a human (physical experience). All the pain and suffering I felt and still feel comes about when I am focusing on his physical absence from my life. It’s when I am only existing as my physical self. But that physical self is only a small piece of who I am. When I take a step back from that narrowed perspective and stop relying on my physical eyes to construct my reality, I can connect with the fullness of who I am. Beyond all that, the being I am is connected with the being Mike is, and always will be. When he was alive, it wasn’t just our physical bodies that came together, it so much deeper than that, our souls united. No amount of time or space can alter that. So while I believe grief is still very real, its not the full story. It’s not the truth. For me it was a catalyst- I began questioning everything because none of it made sense. I couldn’t believe that he was gone- it didn’t feel right and it didn’t feel over. The only thing that was scarier to me than having to face myself was my fear of losing him. I was ready to look behind the curtain and I dove in head first. Love is limitless and so are we. In life, Mike planted a seed by showing me that I was just as worthy of receiving the unconditional love that I so willingly gave to him .His death forced me to redirect all that love and focus towards myself for the first time in my life.

You are not alone. Tons of people feels like you. I always asked my parents if I was adopted, but I was not. I dont belongs to this family. They are so different, they never invited me to family activities. They fight between them but always together, and I'm the outsider. I love them, I wish you the best, but I dont belongs to this group. I will like to know, why I choose to share this life experience with them.

@ Michael Murphy Your comment resonated with me a great deal. The only difference being that I don't have any social media accounts anymore. It was just something I was called to do (remove myself from all of that). However, after 40 years of being in the heart of my family, the first born daughter of my parents and being the big sister to my younger brother, there was a complete disconnect right as I was to suddenly have a Spiritual Awakening. I didn't even know what was happening to me in that first phase of the whole thing. After being an important part of my family and loved, I began to sense their pulling away and pushing me out. We had gone through various ups and downs good times and hard times together, always coming out of them no worse for ware and still their loved daughter and sister. They very abruptly pushed me out of the family and began giving me am uncomfortable silent treatment without anything such as a fight or an arguement happening. I was not approached face to face about anything, just a sudden "them against me" thing... gossip between themselves & to extended family that I "was crazy" and obviously "on drugs"! My Awakening occurred all of a sudden, beginning at the end of 2015. Now, after researching all of this, learning to meditate and doing that every day, how to set intentions in order to manifest and just finally surrendering to the universe to trust in myself... I don't hurt anymore. At times, I'll find myself remembering all kinds of random memories, conversations, outings, school days, getting help with homework, all the things I did with my Dad.... and it feels like I'm thinking about a different life, you know? I have come to understand the dynamics of all of this, through intense journaling, reading, getting in touch with my higher self, finding, accepting and loving me, and watching videos like Nicky's and a few others. One of the most profound differences between then and now is, how like minded people naturally gravitate towards me and I to them. It's as if we all have these antennas that recognise one another. It continues to be a day to day learning experience that brings me closer every minute to Spirit/my higher self, gaining enlightenment as well as allowing my Soul to ascend to a higher vibration... It did take a while to realize that we can't take everyone we love with us because they are doing what they must on their own paths. My family are fully enmeshed in ego/the 3D. Oh my word. Me too. I have never spoken to them but the connection is there and I know they feel it too. I don't think I will ever see them again, and even though I wonder what they're really like, I am okay with not seeing them again. If I see them again and somehow interact, that's also fine.

So saddened to hear of your loss. I lost my oldest son, 13 years ago and his birthday is 2 days after Christmas. I have never heard of our "SOUL" family returning back into our lives, especially as another pregnancy, but if this is your case, that is amazing. I mean that with a glad heart and hope it to be true. You will know most definitely, and I dare any to argue. I often wondered if my cat was a reincarnation of my son. He was born just short of 7 years after his passing. Oreo, did something I never trained him to do, but it was something my son was taught when he wanted my attention without interrupting other adults. After watching Oreo more than one time do this unprovoked and never trained makes me wonder??? True, many argue it impossible based upon religions and dogmatic teachings, but those teachings never stared into the eyes of a cat who patiently waits for your acknowledgement. Right i am trying to figure it out as well because if we have a soul family and the soul family is like our second family also they are like real families( meaing blood families family by blood on earth 3D world) then they should have roles and be like a second mother a second father etc.
