Nice post. Ive tied my laces like that for years. Easy way to remeber is "inside-out" withe the inside lace moving to the outside. Additionally, the loop on the tongue prevents it from moving to the side, but i agree, it doesnt look as polished. I always use the berlutti knot to tie the laces on all my shoes because it sits more centered and looks better and wont come undone.

Fun video! I lace most of my casual sneakers like your left shoe in this example, but I use the tongue loop (when it’s there) to hold the tongue up against the top of the shoe. For my nicer sneakers and dress shoes, I use a version of the bar lacing system. Thanks for sharing!

@@StrayReviews Thanks! I'd just bought some high top sneakers, which take so long to get in and out of - and string - and they were strung differently than I normally do it. Didn't want to do a lot of experimenting. Thanks again for the video and your response!
