Thanks! Looks like I need to get a bowl! I always face lather, but I better grab one for when I order your stuff. Confusion over how to lather the samples was what was holding me back from ordering them.
+Uncle Jon's Soap & More I do have a mug specially for shaving that is extra wide. Not sure why that didn't occur to me as it'd probably be just as good.
Sorry but we don't. They became too labor intensive which drove the prices up for the consumer. So, we suspended samples. If we find a way to make them affordable, they'll be back. Instead, we started making 2oz shave soaps with and without jar. The plain pucks are only$7, so that keeps costs down too.
honestly, what works for me is scooping it with my finger and then massaging it all over my facial hair until I have a pasty layer of soap. then take the damp brush to it.
Good question! I've never dealt with samples that were shavings. So.. how hard are the shavings? If they are even remotely playable then I would smash then together into a single line and press into a bowl. Then just lather like normal. If they are very hard shavings, then I would get them damp and then smash together after they have softened a little. Then go the bowl or mug route. Hope that helps. An ingredient list would be helpful to know so I know how the soap might react either way. Let me know how you get along 😁
We really don't. Unfortunately, it's very labor intensive to make up samples and that makes the cost a little crazy for such a small amount of soap. But, we do now sell plain pucks with no jar that are 2oz and run $7 each. Hope that helps. Maybe someday we can start the samples up again.
