I didn’t know that about drag mode and I haven’t even driven in drag yet. I’m doing it only in mine but the Gt doesn’t have much power for me at least it feels quick but it’s not fast but I did opt for the 10 speed because of the fast shifts but the STI is manual of course so I have that for whoever gaps the mustang if it came to it. Gas is expensive but luckily not that much it’s 3.70 or so.
My 2019 won’t do that on the street. Even when bone stock with 305 nitto 555rII tires if I floor it with traction control/ advance trac off the car breaks loose after about 20ft and when I say loose I mean uncontrollable without letting out the gas. My buddy’s 21 10 speed even fbo e85 will hook on the street on street tires. Idk if it’s because I have the pp1 with the 3.55’s but definitely can’t dig race on the street. Waiting on my Hoosier dot radials to come in hopefully that fixes it. I’ve even got the bmr front and rear irs braces/supports. Car hooks ok at the track still my best 60ft is a 1.89 really hoping a better tire fixes the traction issue
@@Dylan-v3k I got a set of race 17”x10” race stars with 315-35-17r Hoosiers along with bmr cradle lockouts, with the braces and cradle supports. Now she hooks everytime even on a 150 shot. Right now the car just has a 3” awe catback, jlt cold air intake and pbd 93/flex/e85 tune plus the nitrous. I still have some wheels speed but now it at least gains momentum and the car stays straight so I don’t have to let out. I have a progressive controller for the nitrous and I usually set it to 1 second 50% delay on the street and at the track I leave on 100% no delay. That kit is on a wide open throttle switch I’ve also got another small kit on a push button. It’s only a 50 shot and I don’t use it all the time but when I do I usually don’t get on it until 3rd gear. Still don’t know why my car won’t/wouldn’t hook on a street tire like everyone else’s. I tried doing a 50mph roll the other day with my street tires not even on the nitrous the car immediately kicked sideways had to let out and get back in it. Luckily I gave the guy the hit so he was ahead of me when it kicked sideways and I was still able to run him down and pass him after the quick pedal.

What tires are you rocking on this car and how wide? I upgraded to a staggered setup of 255 fronts and 275 rears and upgraded from stop ProContact All Seasons to Continental DWS06+ All Seasons (Wants PS4S but I daily the car and didn't want more road noise and they were hella more expensive lol). Even with the wider and better tires, I still spin on a dig in my 1-2 shift and my 2-3 shift.
I have the Michelin pilot sport all season 4. 275/35/20 front and 315/35/20 rear. Those Dws06+ are awesome I had those on my s550. My tires chirp on a dig but it’s hard to get the car loose unless I’m messing around or the tires are cold
My s650 downshift in sport. But I hear it learns your driving patterns. Idk I'm just ready for my whipple to be here lol. I have the performance pack and it gets off the line a little quicker with the 3.55s
When you say Mexico, do you mean the actual country Mexico? Do they ask you for a passport each time you cross the boarder or something? Like how does that work? Is there some sort of regulation or something because you talk about going to Mexico like if you’re going to the grocery store lol😂
I watched a few Mustang GT videos for 1/4 mile times and the times were basically the same in Sport Plus Vs.Drag mode. The little push you get in drag mode made no difference in the 1/4 time. Horsepower and torque curves were virtually the same in each mode was shown in another video.
