FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE DO A FULL VIDEO ON EYELASH AND MAYBE EYEBROW GROWTH BECAUSE YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE I TRUST 😭 Specifically including your thoughts on latisse for eyelash growth, your opinion would honestly help so much. Please Doc 🙏
Hi Dr. Idriss. I Would love that you consider to make a video talking about skin and hormones. Is there a connection between hormonal therapy and skin reactions?? Is eczema a hormonal issue?? Please let us know 🙏 💜💜
If y’all don’t want to use her cleanser to double cleanse, I use the CeraVe hydrating cleanser that is non-foaming to take off my makeup and then the CeraVe foaming cleanser. Wonderful for my skin.
Thank you. I live near the golf coast (extremely hot and extremely humid, especially in the summer,) and I have oily skin. The, “not use your moisturizer and only use sunscreen b/c it acts as a moisturizer,” is a game changer. I wish I could have heard this years ago. Thank you again!
Hi Dr. Idriss, I just would like to thank you for being so helpful and lovely with us. I imagine that you have a busy schedule, but you still taking time to share skin knowledge with us “the nerds 🤓 “. Merci 💕 j’ai appris tant de choses avec toi.
Thank you SO MUCH for this step by step...Your products have COMPLETELY changed the texture and look of my skin. My face looks Amazing!! I'll never stop using your Major Fade system..NEVER!!! xo
I don't know if someone ever told you this but it would make me the happiest if you had a podcast of you talking all about skincare and skin health. Just an idea ❤
Love your videos and I always learn something new everytime. Thank you for continuing to make the time to do these weekly! I look forward to them on Saturday. Does it matter how long you wait in between steps (besides letting exfoliant or active cleanser do its thing) to apply the next step? Also would love a video about setting skincare expectations. I know this won't be one answer because each skin is very different but I think a big problem is that women expect results in 4-6 weeks (like the commercial says) and that's never realistic. What are realistic expectation timeframes for fixing the most common problems? (acne, hyperpigmentation, etc) and this is assuming you are doing the right steps consistently over a course of time. Or is the bigger problem usually not time but that most patients overdue it on product? Would love your Saturday thoughts on this
Awesome video!!! This is why your major fade line is so awesome. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin tone and pores. I've incorporated a retinol and La Roche Posay mist in with your line. It's so crazy that I have fought so hard all my life with my pore size and "poof" - hard fought war won (And I've been able to eliminate several products in my process). The flash mask is so awesome! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I love soft wash!! I will never go back to any other cleanser. :) I also started using the hyper serum and it is a game-changer for hyperpigmentation. You are a miracle-worker! Thank you so much for all you do! :)
Please do a video on how we can read the labels if we do not have any knowledge of the chemical names nor the memory to remember all of them and what they really represent. ❤
That would be a great video. In the meantime, have you tried using the text feature on iPhone? When you put your camera up to text, like the ingredients list on a skincare box, a little text icon (3 lines surrounded by 4 corners) should appear on the lower right of the camera screen. Press that, it will highlight the text it thinks you’re interested in, and then give you a menu to copy, look up, or other. I use look up, then it’s all listed in the google search, so I pare it down to what I don’t know.
I loveee that you were able to see what was wrong with skin care like the cleanser stinging your eyes and come up with a solution. You are so efficient! Could you please consider adding shipping to Australia? Much love xx
Could you please make a video on how pregnant women still can benefit from a proper skincare? Like anti aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, acne scars .. What alternative(s) we can use for retinol, silicylic acid...
Thank you so much! I had been wondering about using a glycolic cleanser and a chemical exfoliant in the same routine. Now I know for sure that's a no-no. Thanks, Dr. Idriss. You're awesome. 😊
What i would really like to see in one of your next vids or shorts is your thughts on "ultra-budget" sunscreen options... idk if its best practice from a derms perspective, but if i just go to the pool for a swim and dont care about extra moisture (and i am extremely sensitive) i just put on the kids sunscreen from aldi... i'll dry off and have to re-apply/shower afterwards anyways, and it might be an option for ppl on a Budget w sensitive skin
I use Invisible Zinc. Not sure if you're an Aussie too but I live in Qld so have learned which sunscreen provides the most protection. IZ has the highest percentage of zinc oxide that I can find in a sunscreen. I don't like chemical sunscreens as I am Extremely sensitive ( as in I go beetroot red from just a whiff of fragrance or too many chemicals)
Dr. Idriss can you talk about chemical and enzyme exfoliators and which is best for skin prone to redness/rosacea? I have heard conflicting advice. What are the best options?
Can you please do a video on foundations? E.g., what to look for/avoid in a foundation (for the health of your skin), how to make sure it plays nice with the skin care it's going over, etc. Thank you!
Thank you for all the info you put out for us nerds😆 I would love it if you make a video about facial hair/ peach fuzz - best removal techniques and skincare. I was told that you can’t use exfoliating acids if you wax your face?? Also, best skincare for crepey neck - I noticed i developed one and want to take care of that. Many thanks!
@@emilia-qq3du I also do it at home. I just have fuzz/hair around the sides of my face which I HATE 😂🤣 I do it once per month, sometimes every two months and I avoid doing it in the summer. I know some people are very sensitive to it and heard recently it can cause breakouts, so I an like 👀 do I need to stop? 😕
@@emilia-qq3du I have dry, dehydrated, sensitive and acne prone skin with rosacea. I shave my face with a facial razor once a month and love it! I sterilise the razor before and after each use and replace it every few months. A dull blade makes an uneven shave, and can cause cuts and irritation. For my sensitive skin and rosacea, I don't use any actives the day before, day of and the day after shaving. I only cleanse with a gentle cleanser and use hydrating and calming toners, serums and moisturisers on those 3 days. Shaving my face monthly has been a game changer for my skin 😊
Really enjoyed this video. I'm not the most diligent at taking the time to do these steps correctly and this gives me more motivation to give it a go. 💜🧡💛
Hello. I noticed you have a shower filter. May we know the brand and your thoughts on it. Does it make a difference in hair and skin quality? Thank you much.
I love your soft wash! I just use my fingers. I haven’t had to double cleanse once and I wear sunscreen and reapply all day. And it gets all makeup off. I open my eyes every time! And it is so gentle on the eyes and passes the white towel test every time. I wish it was a lil cheaper but I love it. A few times a week in the mornings only I use a prescribed bp 5% wash let it sit a few minutes then rinse and wash with your cleanser.
I am 45 years old and have never worried about my skin 🤦♀️ until now that I am touching my fifties and I’m starting to see the results of.. never taking care of my skin, I have learned so much from watching your videos because I was so clueless it’s embarrassing, or so I have noticed since I started watching your videos anyway what I wanted to say is that the other day for the first time in my life I noticed while rinsing my cleanser in the shower.. how smooth my skin felt and you came to mind because that wouldn’t have happened without all your advise 🙏🙏🙏🤍 I remember that moment when you mentioned how soft your skin felt after rinsing your mask.. are you ever bringing your line to Ulta?? I can’t wait to start using your products!
Thank you for demystifying the steps for me. If you have any plans of doing a meet and greet in Toronto [I'm not sure if that is even possible, since laws may differ in Canada and the US] I would like to thank you in person for making it all make sense. All the best to you and your practice. Canuck nerd right here.
Super shocked to see that I already do pretty much all of this! I'm sensitive and have my hands on some prescription strength retinol, so I only use it twice a week, put it on after the serum and moisturiser, and on those days use castor oil on lashes and brows first, to maximise eye area protection. I also do NOT use face oil after the retinol, because that locks in and intensifies the activity of any actives, a bit like "slugging lite". With my skin, and an aggressive active like 1% tretinoin, you don't want that. In the morning the only difference is that when I'm putting on my (vitamin c) serum, I use a microcurrent device with it (foreo bear) to help massage it in and wake up my face, and throw in some lymphatic massage: at least the terminus (under collar bones) and along the jawbone and sides of neck, even if I'm feeling lazy. It reduces puffiness massively. I've noticed that as I get into my late 30s I spend a lot less time on makeup and a lot more time on skincare 😂
I loved this video so much! I have been watching your videos since the very beginning (so it’s been years 🤓) and I loved this one because it reminded me of the pillow talk derm times. Would love more ingredient deep dives like we used to do and would also love to know how to layer prescriptions like azaleic acid 15% with tretinoin, etc! I look forward to your videos every Saturday and have watched everything at least 10 times. Seriously certified nerd here. ❤
Dr. Idriss could you please on video on skincare when you went in chlorine water? Personally, my face gets really irritated and I can't apply certain products because my face will burn.
this is so helpful! thank you so much. I have just received my order from Dr. Idriss (I live in 🇨🇦). I was not sure how to layer with all of my other skincare items. 😊
Dr. Idriss! I absolutely love your videos! I'm a nerd & enjoy learning new things! And you're freaking hilarious! I'm 37 & have noticed my hair has thinned since I've gotten older. What shampoo do you recommend? Looking forward to Saturday's video! Love from Ohio! 😊
Hey Shereene, I have a request for a video! I used to love having manicures but have been put off by how many people are having serious allergies to gel manicures, do you have any tips on how to stay safe with gel manicures? Thank you so much for your videos I’ve learnt so much from you and have been so empowered by your knowledge! Love Rosie xxx
I used to get gel manicure, ruined my nails. I waited until they got strong again, over winter then I told them I wanted just regular polish. I know it doesn’t last as long, I only do it when I go on vacation or a special occasion. My nails are better. Or I just tell them to put clear polish on in between. Hope that helps 😊
On the days that you don’t use the Major Fade Exfoliating Mask, could you, or would you, use azelaic acid in its place if you had bad hyperpigmentation? And would you consider it a exfoliant bc it’s an acid or serum? Lastly can you use the azelaic acid the same night you use a retinoid? Thank you so much for doing these videos - they are a HUUUUUUGE help bc I have horrible hyperpigmentation! Hoping to get it under control, & ordered your Major Fade System to combat it!! My dream is not have to wear makeup so I don’t have to hide the discoloration all over my face. THANK YOU FOR BEING MY HERO!!!
I am revamping my routine a little bit I still use the elf cleanser after taking my makeup off with micellar water then a glycolic acid as a toner then a nite time elf moisturizer I am going to start the lip basting too Hope this meets with your approval because I think you are really smart I just don't have a whole weeks would grocery money to spend on skin care😂
Can you please do a video on how to take care of your skin down there !!? I feel like all the skincare I have learned from your channel doesn’t apply to the nether region.
Thank you for always doing thorough videos like this. Extremely helpful! Can I use copper peptides when using your major fade active seal in the same routine?
I love your videos ...definitely need to change my skincare. I have oily skin and ive been using Cerave but unfortunately it hasn't helped at all.... your video went into detail and was very helpful and informative on what you need to use for skincare routine.... thankyou 👍😎🧴🧼✨️🌅💖
Bahibik Soo much I am a big fan of yours, I am from Belgium, I love hearing you talk and you explain it so well, love love from Belgium and EID Mubarak . Louajan
What is your take on NAD and NMN? I saw a video of a plastic surgeon saying that these were the best secrets to anti-aging and was wondering how accurate this piece of advice would be.
I would love if you could explain which actives are a great combination and which are a no-no and should never be combined! I find it so hard to create a routine with all the actives Pleaaase 🥺🙏🏻
Slightly confused. Are we not layering from thinnest to thickest for products? Love your videos just want some clarification to know if I’m doing it all wrong 😂
. Love your vids! Could you do a vid about “clean” skin care products? Are they trustable or not really what they should be as far as skincare? I’d love to know! Thx!
I go to the gym right after waking up. I wash my face with water and apply sunscreen (the sun is out at 6!) would you suggest doing a specific morning skin care prior to the gym? I do use a cleanser after gym and do my morning skin care
i do the same as u actually. but make sure it is a mineral sunscreen with spf 50! i use invity mineral sunscreen, perfect for my gym days in the morning.
@@AnnaSwan-qv7of thanks for your reply! Would a mineral sunscreen make a difference? I use Ombrelle Kids SPF 60 Sunscreen. I know its technically for kids but its working well, and doesnt leave a white-cast and neither does it break the bank. Idk anyone else who uses it though
Hello dr.Idriss, thank you so much for the videos.Should we apply all the products we normally use on the face,on the neck and chest as well?even the ones with acids?could you give us some tips and recommendations about hands skincare and antiaging?Thank you!
I watch your videos from Mexico, but you don’t ship your products to our country and they aren’t available at Sephora here 😢. Can we expect them to be available some time soon?
WHAT ABOUT eczema treatments for face? I have that around my mouth and also what about the neck and how do you use water without the sink gets water everywhere you know the one you don’t do, do you cleanse then sponge for ur face w the cleanser already in it not a antibacterial soap?
I am using a prescription hydroquinone compounded with tretinoin. I am applying it twice daily currently. When do I apply my vitamin C, niacinamide and azelaic acid? Can I use l-ascorbic acid or must I use an ester form? Thank you for managing this video!!
I understand the basics which has been explained here and many other blogs. But! I’m having problems with layering more complex things which is soooo confusing. If I use vitamin c ferulic, can I also layer w/ a serum of peptides & growth factors? ….. so complicated.
