In this video we answer a comment/question about how to make a conveyor belt using Blender and Particle Physics. This is a bit trickier than it sounds because Particle Physics collisions have some limitations.
In this video we look at the basics of setting up an animation with particle physics, and then explore a more accurate approach using rigid bodies.

I've never used it but I can try to fit it in. I believe Makers Tales has done some videos on it. Have you seen that content?

@@LearnEverythingAboutDesign Yes, but to be honest you come at it from a designer's viewpoint so I think a video by you would be more effective.

my object bounces heavy on the belt and yeets off :P

Its a feature not a flaw ;) Is it the object particle system or the one with rigid body? For the particle system you have the Stickiness slider to adjust. For the rigid body play around with the friction and damping.

Do you know why when I adjust the sliders, it sometimes makes the object pass through the objects, like they dont have a rigid body, and only way to fix it is to reset the whole rigid body for both passive and active objects?@@LearnEverythingAboutDesign

@@niklastsalkos hm that is strange. I am on 3.5 still as well. Does this happen if you stop the playback, adjust the settings and restart the playback from the beginning? tweaking settings while its playing can have odd effects.
