These 3 tools helped me to have fun learning Japanese: 1. The Kana app - it was fun to learn the Kana characters with it 2. A book on Amazon called 'your first 840 words in japanese'. With this I was able to teach myself the most important Japanese words in 21 weeks and it was fun. 3. A Japanese teacher who you can talk to and who gives you exercises.
Actually my text book taught me these in the first lesson, too. But the reality is very different from what I had imagined.... 1: me: あり様ってどういう意味ですか? J: あり様は あり様だよ。 2: J: パイナップルが好きですか? me: パイナップルとはどういう意味ですか? J: パイナップルとは pineappleだ. 英語だよ. me: 🤔....😳? J: 知らないの? me: 😵知らない. 英語は私の母国語ではないし🥺。
i’m a complete beginner with barely any knowledge i mastered hiragana and in process of katakana what should i do afterwards? (p.s. i don’t like textbooks)
Once I knew hiragana, I started learning vocabulary. Then you can finally use it and have a sense of accomplishment in learning the language. On amazon there is a book called "Your first 840 words in japanese" that will teach you all the vocabulary for JLPT N5 in 20 weeks. It is not a workbook, but is based on flashcards that you can cut out and study with, along with a detailed vocabulary section where the words are explained with example sentences, the pronunciation is explained, the individual kanji are explained, and much more.
@@flewberi I meant for the school you dream to build. I haven't found any good social platform that is easy to use for a good communication with different levels of language learners.
