Wow, your advice is so important! Even a young person starting in say, fast food (good luck in CA) or in any retail store can make it a thrilling adventure by viewing service and sales as a creative act. You really learn how the world works by learning your products and applying your knowledge to make a customer happy . I worked in retail sales and store management for 20 years and feel that the experts I met and learned from along the way displayed more wisdom than the "superior academics" who look at business, commerce, and wealth with distain.
