The smack at the end!!!!!! Lol. People used to ask me if they could ride my horse back in the day, and I would reply “can I sleep with your husband?” That worked pretty well too.
Always ask before, always accept their first answer. Most dog owners know their dogs best and it's also their pet, and they have a right to tell you no. Also make sure to get the permission of the dog; if they shy away or growl, that's a no. The pups in the video don't seem to want to be pet tbh.
I personally think the dogs didn’t seem to not want to be pet. However they were adhering to the man and his actions being obedient and so you could say they didn’t want to be pet as their owner did not want them pet. But I agree with you about all of what you said 😁
People like that are so unnecessary and annoying. They always want to touch everyone and everything. And the crazy thing is, they're ALREADY REACHING as they're asking as if they just know you're going to say yes or they simply don't care. The entitlement of people is ridiculous.
@@ericandcaprithepup The entitlement is out of control and it's only getting worse. They've obviously never been properly checked. They're so entitled they think that everyone is supposed to always say yes just because they asked.
It ridiculous I'm in Alaska And here, well my big boys, whenever asked to get petted. People usually back away instead of reaching I cannot believe people who actually reach for for your dog. That's incredibly insulting
A.k.a Hearing of people being bit And yes, I live in Anchorage ak now I see people do the same thing You maintain a distance, and ask the owner, if they say no, you continue on your way Yes, you give the puppers all the hugs and pets and stuff
Also as someone with dogs of all sizes and in particular a small dog, rat terrier mix, I keep my eyes on anyone around and make sure no one is touching her it's just not safe for people to be petting your dogs randomly all the time
@@duckduckgoose7036 teach the kid the same way a kid is just a mirror of what around them you do not have to shatter the glass but change the envioment that it reflects
@@duckduckgoose7036 If a child actually asked and didn't just reach and it was one of my kid friendly dogs I probably would allow it. Not all my dogs are receptive to children just reaching out n grabbing at them. Regardless, children need to know that a dog isn't just a green light for touching. They do Def need to learn that early on.
I am glad that I am not alone in this! I absolutely despise it when people pet my dog WITHOUT PERMISSION, even if they ask I just say: “Oh she doesn’t like being pet” or “She bites”. Sorry not sorry-
I never let strangers pet our German shepherd's. They would not let anybody touch them. I say that they will bite. They are fantastic with kids but male's it's a big No.
Probably, since hes the dogtrainer that said ppl should stop asking if they could pet strangers dogs. But sadly, thats also something i personally endure every fucking day on walks with my dog. Its so annoying
@@Exzaclyy yes! By now, my dog is so stressed out by ppl trying to touch him, I totally smack some hands like the guy in the video. Maybe i should carry a spraybottle of water and spray some idiots.
