After noticing the side docks on our houseboat were "bowing" up slightly, we worked this week to level them back out again with the main house dock! Keep in mind that the FLOATS we put underneath lighter-weight areas like these side docks are shorter (and therefore less buoyant) than the taller floats underneath the house. Float dimensions & distribution happen in the build planning phase of course, rather than where we are at now (after the fact, with the house already built), but nonetheless are another huge factor in keeping a floating cabin level.
