There's alot of good barber channels out there. But I haven't ever watched one that breaks everything down as well as you do. The hand and finger placement, where to stand etc. This channel can help people grow from any skill level.
This is the most informative shape up video on RU-vid, period. Will Stamm is by far an excellent barber with a knack for teaching. Hands down, I recommend you watch this video in entirety.
You are a cut above everyone else when it comes to showing your passion to see others grow. The clipper/finger placement explanations have been on my radar since I got into cutting and you are the only one I have found so far. Your aptitude to break down the steps and teach it in a didactic way is much appreciated. Keep em coming. This 'will' be a new stream of income for you (no pun intended). Awesome job and I have already become better for having spent hours watching your videos over and over.
Hi Will, I must agree with Jayson, I'm a new barber (female at that) and I must say the knowledge and information you have given in this video sets you ahead of the rest. You are very detailed, exact and precise. The main thing I like most of all is, your video is NOT fast forwarded and very professional. I look forward to more of your videos, so keep them coming.
Hey Will. I'm a new baber in the game. The clarity of the knowledge you gave me through this video has given me the up most confidence on handling the clipper without getting nervous. Thanks family.
nice vid bro. You're a great teacher. I have not seen no one on RU-vid explaining the body technique when cutting. its more than clippers and comb. keep up the great work!!
I like the detail you put into each of your videos. I've been cutting hair for about a year and watching youtube videos but this is the most detailed I've seen yet. Keep posting good content!
the most useful and didactic work posture video I've seen this year. You're the best, man! A hug here from Brazil and I hope to see your new videos soon!
+jermain abdin thank you!! That's in my future plans... I'm just having fun in building shops I'm only 30... as I get older I'll switch into developing the best schools...
Awesome fucking video. This dude cuts hair with a passion. I wish you nothing but success and a shop of your own that stands for many years to come. Great video man. Seriously great video.
This is a great tutorial. I already use most of these techniques. The compass techniques is new to me and I naturally do the finger brace but I didnt understand why i did. thanks for the tips. keep it up.
Will Stamm your welcome your videos of has helped me tremendously also I do not want take too much of your time cuz I know you're very busy man but I have some pictures of some of me haircuts this any email I can get so you can rating for me you can inbox me at jpinero18.jp@gmail.com I appreciate your expertise and opinion 💈💙
THANK YOU! for the pointers. I cut at a Great Clips and am always looking to up my game and down my time. I also really like how you teach the $ system for the clipper guards. I am in the process of converting to a detachable blade system now and my fades are looking better than ever now my lines will look nice and crisp as well.
I'm not going to front. I watched your video on how to use guards (I'm about to self cut and was doing some research) - I thought it was "ok" but I was like "what this white boy know about cutting black hair"? so then I clicked on this video to see what kind of info you had on the line up. This video is clear, good and has some great tips (esp the part about using your fingers as a brace). lesson learned (again). can't always judge a book by it's cover.
Great Instructions love how you kept it natural and crispy without pushing it back, how do you adjust your trimmers to cut nice like that without irritating the skin...
Im a barber student and I was thinking about leaving because the schools teaches me NOTHING! Nooooooooowwwwwww I will want your videos and roll with it .
Nice bro you are very educated with your craft thanks for your give back to the barber community appreciate it you definitely should be getting more love even it's not for the views and stuff
Great video. Great detail and explanation. Now maybe I can stop leaving the permanent lining. I've been using the wrong angles and techniques. Thank you Will!!!!!!!!
Awesome instructions man. This has helped me so much and I look forward to seeing more from you... Can't wait for the tapers ,fades,Mohawks and other specialty cuts. Keep up the hood work and I'll keep in touch. #instructorGOD
Amazing way of explaining it I'm a cosmetologist and I have to do cuts some times 😲😲 and this will help me get the job done 😎thanks any easy fade turtorial 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
Awesome video! What Thule of clippers would you recommend for a crisp shape up? I purchased a set of WAHL clippers and it’s a struggle to give my son a shape up. Seems very dull. Not sharp at all. Thanks.
It works sir, Ive checked it. Ill just use ear plugs. Thank you for the reply sir. I do have a question on blending and the.best clippers to use. I have the magics and sterling 4 to remove bulk. Should I go with the cordless wahl seniors when they drop in two months? Again thanks fir the replay Mr. Stamm
hey will stamm how you ve been chilling and working hard just wanted to check with you about the mohawk and taper videos plus im still not sure if im gliding the clipper right when im doing the c part of the line up
Ny Giants look up how to zero gap your blade usually just got to loosen up the screws to your blade and adjust the blade where there both even and tighten them down...just never have the bottom blade out more than the too cause than you'll just cut the person..
Hey will, most ppl start the line up, up top on the front hairline you started one the beard then the corners and saved the frontline for last just wondering if thats the order you use everytime and if that's the best order to use to give consistent even line ups, I feel i struggle a bit on nailing it everytime
I did but I was just wondering do need my Andis t liners modified or a deep tooth blade cause they hit line crap. One side sharper then the other side Ave they're brand new. Do you think I should take them back and get the detailers?
Great and professional video! I cut my own hair, but it's difficult for me to line behind my ears. However, I don't have T-Shaped trimmers, I use Wahl Peanut. Is that my problem?
Im starting barber college soon. Do they teach you how to cut for this type of hair? Like I see a lot of comments on videos that black people will only go to black barbers. Seems racial but I get it. How can I learn to cut curly or coarse hair?
