Can you do a video on how to adapt to certain areas of the body that are difficult like fingers, palms, elbows, knees, etc. what changes do you make to properly saturate lines and/or shading in those areas?
I was lining with a #12/14 RS with my avenger 2 pro at a 4,6mm stroke... It's the only machine that's pushing these thick needle groupings effortless.. I used it for big neotraditional flower designs or some geometric stuff...
You did great advice Brandon, I had issues only with 7 rs but now, oh boy I can line with them now. With no funky space in the middle because of the gap
Hey Brandon thanks for another great video and much needed useful information! When I started to learn how to tattoo, I bought a package of assortment needle cartridges and always has issues using round shaders, so I avoided using them. Now I can actually use what I have and save money! Thanks Again! 🙏poppy
Biggest I have used is 1014RS. I really like lining with the 1007RS. How would you say 12 with compares with 10 for Round Shaders? I was thinking to buy some to see the difference.
I just tried an 1011RS today on some fake skin and yeah I was so confused why my lines werent saturating like they do with my liner needles. I found a voltage that ended up working and a hand speed to match it so I'm glad I gave it a try before trying to apply it to real skin.
Thank you .for ever thing im saving up to bye yall class and your tattoo book all most there .lol and iv tried using a 11rs and it did not go so good lol
I have also seen guys I’ve been around turn up machine running faster to line with round shaders and even if lining with regular liners you always whip your line out when pulling your needle out at the end or you will get that ink dot stopping it without doing so
Hey brother. I am having trouble running lines with a 14 round shader. I am running a coil machine and I can't seem to run a good line wirh it . I am not sure if it's the size tip or what . I press down pretty good . I have several coil liners 2 apollo2 coil liners 10 wrap coils - 2 knock off micky sharps dial frames that I built my self 1 has 10 wrap coils and 1 has 8 wrap coils. I am just trying to figure it out . How would you set up a coil liner if you wanted to run soild lines with a coil liner from the coils to the springs and tip Size . I tried slowing my hand .pressing harder I have my angle at 90 degrees almost straight up wirh a slight angle. I completed a tattoo yesterday and it was a nightmare all the way through cause I had to run lines multiple times very stressful to say the least it took me 3 times as long.
Is shading with round shaders the same as mags or even Round liners? I mean can you whip/pendulum shade or do you have to do it more like packing colour? I read in a forum you had to use circular motions for Round shaders
I used 3rl for lining, and yes it leaves a fuzzy line and obvious crack? Is this normal for 3rl liner, or i use Round Shader, if i want a crisps line..?
What voltage would you recommend for a pen style machine when it comes to lining vs shading? Also for stippling what voltage should you use? If you hang your needle out of the cartridge a bit for lining should you bring it in more for shading and stippling?
Voltage depends on your hand speed. What works for one tattoo artist may not work for others if the hand speed is not the same. Stippling is best at a lower voltage, but this too depends on your hand speed and size of needle.
Never used a rs but will love to see a video of shading or doing color with the rs ? And i have one question it happen a few time why my neddle got like stuck on skin or feel like it skip happen to me like 2 time last week ? (Using a new machine bronc v2 ) Thanks in advance
Probably the skin is not stretched enough and/or you’re pushing the needles at a sharp angle. So try stretching it out more and or drag the needle instead of pushing it
@@ruydiculous8564 Will make sure to check that cus i make sure i stretch the skin maybe my angle and puching it never haver to me but past 2 tattoo happen maybe one or two times Thanks for the anwer
I don't see any videos from anyone showing how folks shade with a round shader. It's seems folks are mostly lining with RS and some tight color packing
Question. When I attempted using a RS for lining I had ink bleed on the back of my fake skin so those would be blow outs on real skin. Do you change pressure or depth when using RS compared to RL?
@@FAWD24 Invest in a thermal tattoo printer if you find it hard to draw stencils. It was a game changer for me. Temu is where I got mine from for half the price of what Amazon sells them for.
If you're just starting out and still putting in lots of practice, probably CNC Police cartridges are your best bet. They're budget friendly and great quality for its price point. Other than that, cartridges like Kwadron or T-Tech are great brands to consider
