Looking to increase the amount of items you list on eBay? Or Maybe You're trying to learn to list on Ebay for the first time. Watch this video for tips and tricks to help you grow your eBay business!
Thank you. You CAN teach an old dog new trickks. I'm 81 years old and have been sellingon ebay for 26 years continually. You are the first to make me want to try using my phone for listing. I have watched others, but your video just clicked with me.
I wish I was better on my phone. I have the ebay app but I do most of mine on computer. I am old just can't navigate like you young kids. I am learning but it is a struggle. I was born in 65 so there ya go. LOL!!
Awesome tip! However in other countries (Germany my case) you need to add "legal topics" into the item description - e.g. chocking hazard for small toys, info on recycling of batteries are mandatory here and if not present you risk getting a nice letter from a lawyer. Still great tip just need those text blocks handy to paste into the desciptions.
Great video. I sell electronics and the thing that slows me down is cleaning and testing the items. This process is omitted from the video. Electronics sell for more money if tested and cleaned. Depending on what the items are, testing can take quite a bit of time.
Interesting about the description. There used to be a way to just default to the title but I don’t see that anymore, so I cut and paste that only for most descriptions.
@@JrideFlipswhat is that lamp you have there next to your listing table? Is that a "photo lamp light" or just a regular lamp you pointed all the arms toward your table? Thanks 🙂
This is so helpful, thank you so much... I am new to listing and so slow at it. Also, I had been agonizing over writing a beautiful and perfect description but I'll not worry about that now. Thank you so much.
Hey Jake, just curious in this video you listed as 59.99, in a previous video you mentioned psychology behind listing at 59.97 - are you able to expand on why you went 99 this time? Thanks in advance. Love the content, really helping me with my store
Great if your phone is using wifi. Be because uploading all those high res photos is eating up your data fast. And you better be careful about using "sell similar". Your ad could inherit donating 30 percent of profit to charity.
When you do a search with the model number, and the name, doesn’t it just show the products that people have actually put in the model number in the item specifics? What I’m saying is a lot of those same exact items could’ve sold or listed but the people didn’t put the item number in so I think you’re getting Limited results. I could be wrong, but I believe that would lead to skewed results of sold/listed.
Am I crazy? Or does this maybe not work in Canada? When I sell similar here is no carryover of the weight and size data? Even my default shipping policy is not applied. Any tips on how to fix this
Really enjoy these videos. I wanted so much. I had three defects in the past 90 days and eBay will not remove Them even though I have pleaded my case. How do I tell what restriction or restrictions they have put on my account? The young lady I spoke to couldn’t answer that question.
So you do not weigh anything as part of your listing process? How do you know how much everything weighs, or that the listing your copying has the correct weight? I know you've been doing this a long time, but it seems like it would be pretty difficult to estimate everything.
I guess I'm in the small minority with buying on ebay, I'll look at all the pics and read over the description. So with that said i find it hard to believe 2 out of 10 read description.
Go to his store and check out his negatives and neutrals. He has a lot and many specifically mention a lack of description and flaws were not in photos.
@@ritahall9556I’m not implying that he is a bad seller. Rereading my comment it sounds that way. Most sellers are not going to be able to push those negs down the page at the rate he can. Last time I looked he was at like a 98.5 feedback rating. Most of the other creators that I check have a 99.3-100% rating. 98.5 percent is good but it could possibly be better if he took the 20 seconds to add a description. 20 seconds is his number, not mine.
Sorry man, this was a very lazy attempt and bad advice. You made it look like you didn't check any item specifics, no description..? You lost a subscriber with this one, terrible habits to teach new sellers and that will make sellers look bad to prospective buyers.
Hi Jake...could you do a video on how you part out and list a vacuum? I found a Shark and Hoover Windtunnel and want to break them down to sell for buts..but not sure how (cuz I'm a girl!) A video would be very helpful and appreciated.
I look up the vacuum model number and then I look at the available & sold Used listings from Low to High .You should be able to find your part there and click on Sell Now. All the info will be imported into your listing and you can just fine tune your listing.
Happy to follow and support. Sorry, Ebay has been a problem. I have heard as much from friends. I'm watching you on The Nurse Flipper, as I am a nurse who flips. You are very informative via the few short moments of videos I have watched.
I guess I'm spending way too much with taking my photos. I remove the background, crop, brighten, etc. I need to try it this way and see if it helps. It takes me 20 minutes to do 1 item! 😅
You dont go for returns payed by buyer and 1 day shipping for top rated seller plus for extra protection on returns? Ebay just allowed me to give a 50% with no paid shipping on a item that was returned damaged. 22$ instead of 99$.
@@JrideFlips I use iPhone 12 in combination with a iPad Pro, pics on mercari marketplace and Etsy load nearly instantly. It’s only eBay where my devises and internet service has issues
