This game never cease to surprises me some combo moves like this are soo insane the deck itself isnt the best but when you get a nice rare moment like this is dosnt even matter
Not really. Mystique can't copy powers. More accurate would be Mimic or Super Skrull. But Taskmaster could also work in a pinch if they use blades instead of cards. Honestly I would love for them to contrive a way for this legendary team-up to happen in Secret Wars. Maybe Wong uses a spell to share Gambit's powers to Mystique and they defeat a bunch of Kangs or something lol
And juggernaut, Aero, Magneto, Leech, Spider-man, Sandman, Rhino, Scarlet witch, Storm, Reality stone, Debri, Hobgoblin, Green goblin, Viper and whoever else can get rid of limbo or disrupt wong
I pulled that off once, albeit not quite to that extent, like right after I **finally** got Wong and I will never be able to do it again because I encounter entirely too much Wong countering now.

Black panther on one lane turn 5, nothing else any other lane, at all Arnim zola on bar sinister turn 6 This leads to a circular thing which takes about 5 minutes to resolve and leaves you with about 128 power on 2 to 3 lanes The guy has to sit there and watch arnim copy himself back and forth hundreds of times. Literally.
Another kinda dumb finisher that I've found for my mister Negative deck (I can play this finisher maybe 5% of the time) is Spiderman into Arnim Zola on turn 5.
Seeing this now and I am absolutely happy about the fact they fixed the card to how it was meant to be and not destroying everything even when you dont have cards to discard
That’s a ridiculous combo lol. I’d say Gambit need to be nerfed, but honestly you’ve got to have the exact pieces and it takes a full lane for the combo so it’s pretty easily disrupted.
I still don't get how he was able to multiply Gambit's effect twelve fold. Like by my calculations, I only counted Gambit's effect to be multiplied eight fold based of the cards in his location.
I made a lady deathstrike deck that kinda does this... boost her up with maybe magic into Wong-mystique but magic is not necessary then forge or shuri, deathstrike & a zola on her & it wipes the field clean. Is it the best... no but it's funny.
It's funny because someone did something similar with the " return the card back to your hand zone" so I did it twice after and the person just quits lol 😆.
onslaught doubles wong so that’s 4 on reveal effects. mystique copies onslaught. so now onslaught is a x4 making wong a x8but onslaught doubles mystique as well. so is it a x16?
How does this work? I understand Wong allows on reveals to happen twice, and mystique copy’s wongs ability, but destroying 12 cards?? I don’t understand how that ends up happening
