Thanks for the video! Question lets say I am streaming to RU-vid using an IRL set up of a camera, encoder and a mobile router. If I turn on the drone live stream feature from DJI Fly app, WHILE i am already in a RU-vid live, will that switch scenes to the drone until I turn off the drone and then will it go back to my camera? Trying to figure out how to switch between a camera IRl stream view to a drone and back.
Good video Chris. It seems that we need 1000 subscribers for this to work since that's the RU-vid requirement for mobile devices. It would be interesting to know if a workaround exists.
When you use a stream key you are not using a mobile device so this limit doesn't exist. You just need to have your phone number verified in the account settings like you do for videos over 15 mins.
I have a chance to start filming football games with this broadcast company. I’m trying to figure out how I would send them a live feed while they’re filming. They use a wireless system with there Panasonics. I wanna add my mini 2 to the mix.
I have started the live streaming process from my Mavic Air 2 using a iPhone 13 Pro Max and I’ve been getting some crackling sound on the live. Is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance.
Do you have to repeat that process every time you want to live stream on this app, or does the app save the information imputed for future live streaming? I'm asking because with my Mavic 2Pro on the DJIGO4 app, once you input your live stream platform's information the 1st time, it will remain saved so the next time you want to use it, all you has to do is just clicking on your media platform icon and that's it!... Is this how it work on the DJI Fly app? Thumbs-up for your video! 👍🏾Have a great day! 👍🏾👍🏾Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵😷🦠🇵🇷 Like#27
Short answer is no you don’t. It saves the same stream key every time in my experience, which is nice for news organizations and others that give you a dedicated stream key. The reason I say short answer is because in my experience it’s not associated with the app it’s associated with that drone. I haven’t done enough testing nor the need for it to see all the saving quarks, but if you are only using one drone it should save there.
I still cant get mine to work properly with my mavic 2 pro. i enter all the values and on screen is says connecting......forever...but never works.. Any suggestions....Thank you Ricardo
The DJI FPV doesn't have this feature enabled in the DJI Fly app. On mine, it just doesn't show up in the app for the DJI Fly drone, even if it does for the other DJI drones shown. So the title of this video is misleading.
If you are doing it wirelessly using the RTMP connection you need a RTMP server to connect to. You can create a local RTMP server on your computer or a device like a Synology NAS.
I am really pissed about the fact that you cannot! Damn, everyone says the RC is great but I really don't know why. I think the phone is 100 times better than the RC
You can, but don’t have to. The stream key and url are saved so you can stream to the same place again. This works well on RU-vid and most private servers. So no reconfiguring, you can start a stream in a few seconds.
It doesn’t work on Facebook. If it did they would do a video showing it being done. At least it doesn’t work at the time of this writing. If anyone can show otherwise, would love to see the process of how it was done.
I am just wondering if you on another device copy the RU-vid Share link then paste that into Facebook as a post you should then be able to view the RU-vid stream live on Facebook?
