Thank you sir! I feel for you....I have someone very close to me suffering from Parkinson's. Not saying (god forbid) that's your story, it just made me think of him. Either way, god bless and stay well and healthy during these crazy covid days!
Very useful, I was just bruteforcing them from the front. Would have probably ruined the clip if it weren't just sheet metal that can bend back in place.
I tell ya those round nosed bullets seem so weird compared to what we have now. Not that I am scoffing the design or anything just idk seems less intimidating then the pointed stuff iteration. Either way wouldn't want to get hit by them haha.
Is it true that the telescopic sight fitted to Lee Harvey Oswald's Carcano would have prevented the magazine clip being inserted into his rifle? That would mean each round would have have to be fed, one at a time, for each shot. If that is the case, what is the minimum time for three shots?
Question.... Does the clip fall out automatically after loading the last bullet or does it stay in the rifle awaiting a manual removal ? Thanks in advance...
@@Slivyr Hey thanks for that lightning quick response.... Now for the $50,000 question.... How long do you think it takes to assemble a Carcano? In the service, we had to learn how to assemble our M-16s quickly... Is a Carcano easy to assemble quickly? Appreciate your expertise...actually I envy your expertise... Thanks.
Not starting an argument. The difference between a magazine and a clip is that a magazine uses a spring to load rounds into the chamber. A clip either feeds ammo into the internal magazine or holds the ammo as it goes through the gun
@@michaeljohns1019Me. I care. Want to talk intelligently about things? Then words should have meaning. How about this? FUCK you jagoff! I didn't really mean that because FUCK you jagoff, in my part of Pittsburgh means you're ok in my book. Oh wait now you care about what words mean? Let's call all the parts on a firearm "thingy things". You seem ok with calling things anything so here we go. You know the thingy thing that you pull to thingy thing the gun & then the thingy thing comes outta the thingy thing hole & then you load another thingy thing into the other thingy thing hole. Then after you run outta thingy things & the thingy thing stays open, hit the thingy thing so that the thingy thing closes & loads another thingy thing & you can continue to thingy thing the thingy thing. See how fucking stupid things get when you don't give a FUCK about calling a magazine & a clip their proper terminology. Who cares? Hood rat FUCKS in my area of Pittsburgh call them "clips". They say "who cares" just like you do. They also can't cross the street, pull up their pants, figure out how a belt works, or maintain a job.
most service bullets before spitzer (pointed) bullets were round nose like the 6.5 carcano. I want to say it was in 1898 when countries started switching to spitzer bullets.
Are the angled clips compatible with all carcanos? Just picked up an M91 calvary carbine, and the gun store only had one of the angled ones. At the time, I thought carcanos only had rectangular clips, but now maybe I need to go back and get the angled one. Thank you.
I mean you need the clips to use the rifle so in a way it is useless since if you don't use the clips it will damage the Mannlicher system. In terms of the clips from different rifles? I honestly am not sure. Prob some work better then others given there respective calibers and if there shaped differently as shown by the Austrian M95 version but overall I cant say universally whether all would or wouldn't work. On a side note Forgotten weapons has a video where a guy is selling "loading adapters" that can serve as a kinda boot leg Clip essentially. Idk if it would work for a Yugo Mannlicher but hey wouldn't hurt to look into it. He talks about them like 7 minutes in ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0_CJnKQH58k.html
I greatly need help from anyone in these comments or the maker of this video. I just left my gun store and I saw one of these rifles for the first time period they had no information on it besides the name and they said they'll give it to me for a greater price if I can find a clip/magazine for it because they didn't have one does anybody know where I can find one
