Not all staples fit so be sure to buy only Stanley brand or you'll be mad upon getting home finding out they won't go in the gun

Stanley staples are fine, but other staples ie Tac Wise are slightly wider, and will not go in.

Why does it say on the side it fits 10mm,12mm, and 14mm when they don't fit? You just installed 8mm. How do you adjust to the different sizes?

It says on my staple gun the staples you need are Heavy Duty Stanley 0-TRA700 Type 4/11/140 or G Staples

Jfc, I feel so stupid for the time I spent trying to load staples in the wrong way... like everybody else. I'm just sure there's NO WAY Stanley couldn't have anticipated this and designed something more user friendly/obvious. Uggghhhhh

How do you ensure the staples are held tightly against the firing end? My staple strips slide along the shuttle at will so that when I try to fire they frequently don't come out because they're not tight against the end. Not sure what I'm missing.

I checked against another stapler and it looks like a small spring runs the length of the the sliding metal shuttle part. That spring is missing from my unit which would explain why there's not enough tension to keep the staple strip against the end. Can anyone with a working stapler confirm that's the case? Thanks

I think you suppose to put the stables on the slider and side it in not drop it in the hole. Also when test it don’t fire it use a ply wood to to test.

Ok, where's the staple come out on the video. I have same stapler, does not release staple when handle is pressed down. Acts and feels like it, but nothing. Defective right out of the package. Doesn't work. Very simple to load and operate correctly. What's the chances of one not working, what could be wrong? Straight to the trash and try another brand ?

No actually this is one of the best in the market, just check the staples exit if one is stuck there!!!
