I had no idea you could move the middle 2 spring things LOL I assume that’s where I can load my portrait mat at? Not sure why you would but I guess if you had the smaller mat and the portrait was not available....

We don't have any videos for cutting with poster board. However if you put it on a cutting mat you just need to find the correct pressure. Hope this helps. Thanks Matt

I have loaded my cutting mat the same exact way, but it cuts on the edge of the mats. I have made sure the software as well has cutting mad selected. any ideas?

That might be a mechanical malfunction in the actual machine. Might call the Silhouette contact us to be sure your machine isn't faulty and what your warranty will replace if so. -TRW Crystal
When I try to use my feed arrow to load my vinyl the arrow blinks and nothing else I can't load the vinyl it's a cameo 4 and I only purchased it at the end of 2020 worked fine last time I used it , so not sure what the problem could be.
You would have to set your design to cut outside of the cutting mat area! Most cutters can't cut that high up because it still has to be able to grip onto the material. -TRW Bri
on your screen, you need to tell your Cameo that you are cutting without a Mat. The machine loads the extra inch when it thinks you have a cutting mat. This is in the Page Setup panel..you can chose Cameo mat or turn that button off in the panel. :) -TRW Pilar
If i load my Vinyl the left site of the vinyl is stucked iny playce how it should be. But the right sizes isnt locked or what so ever i can move it easily with my hand. Pls help
Can u show where u would place your rollers for smaller material w/o a mat? That’s where I always have my problems with my material going catty wampus.....no matter how I adjust my rollers my material will shift.
You'll place the rollers in the smaller notches that are more toward the middle. For smaller pieces, make sure that the thick part of the roller is toward the edge of the material all the way through. A common issue with smaller material is that it is cut a bit crooked, so when it continues to load, it will feed in crookedly. My personal opinion is to use a mat whenever you have smaller pieces, just to be safe. - TRW Lisa
Can you please help me my silhouette cameo 3 is not turning on. I have tried to change the charger but it’s not doing anything. We bought couple of weeks ago didn’t even drop it or anything was working perfectly fine few days ago and then yesterday when I connect it to power didn’t turn on
HTV is, yes, but adhesives are often very close to thickness aside from a handful slightly thicker for more industrial type use. If they were stuck to the Mat and not weeding out correctly then it might be an issue with the cut settings you used. We do have our recommend cut specs on our website under the FAQs as well.😊 -TRW Mireya
My HTV keeps creasing up as it starts to cut then messes up the whole thing & I have to start over! I'm cutting 32" w/out a mat, all my page settings are correct & my roller bar is aligned so that the rollers are on top of the mat down the edges! What is going on here!?
