I love the Princess of Wales’ style. Also, she always comes across as friendly, but dignified, just right for her position. I think her country and sporty looks are the best for my casual lifestyle, I prefer them to modern athletic wear, I would choose wool tweed over nylon and spandex, for sure.

Carlsen, I like your comment because I'm also on the short side and it is difficult. A woman such as Katherine who is 5 ft 10 without heels is a whole different can of worms but I try like you and I think I succeed. If push comes to shove, the body that she has would NEVER have been in style back in the day because she has NO waist; she has NO hips; she has NO breasts. SHE'S basically a straight-up little boy's body on some very long legs which is her best feature and I don't mean it badly. It's her only good feature cuz otherwise she's a very plain face-- even with her nose job --and nothing sensational,quite frankly, about her figure and definitely not an hourglass gorgeous sexy body but that is the style NOW and she does it with aplomb and grace😚. I love Marianas's use of the term FASHION DIPLOMACY, because she definitely has that in spades. I gather you're over 60 and I am too so that definitely creates a whole different reality --shall we say --and I like it. I just wish the world had more respect for older women and the Queen Elizabeth exemplified what older woman should look like and act like and she did get the respect that we ALL should get. MAYBE as Catherine ages and when she finally does become Queen consort then she will establish a new way of being for older women, even if you and I might not be around to enjoy the respect and the adulation that older women really should have☺️
Oh, I can't beleive my video wish has come true, thank you!! I 100% agree with all what you have said, especially when you give her for not dressing 'interesting' enough. I think it is the opposite, it is admirable that despite of being in the spotlight she is exercising restraint and dresses 'only' elegantly and modestly. It is only unfortunate that modesty is not a very popular value these days, but to me she stands out because of this.
I really enjoyed this video about the STYLE of Catherine, Princess of Wales! I come from an older generation where the late Diana, Princess of Wales was born just 2 years before me. Everything that you said about Catherine was said about Diana back in the day-almost word-for-word. Some of Diana’s fashions may look funny or out-dated now, but, in the 1980s and 1990s, she was The ‘It’ Girl! After Diana’s death, all I wanted for the ‘boys’ was their happiness and success! All of the recent ‘happenings’ just make me sad. However, there is nothing more fun to brighten up the day than to view and talk about great classic style and fashions like that of Catherine’s! Hi Susan! The cardigan is an old one from &Other Stories… I thought a short-sleeved cardigan would be hard to wear, but it’s one of my most loved pieces! And the turtleneck is a basic one from Zara. I love how the oatmeal color of the two pieces are a near perfect match, so it looks intentional 😊

Hi, Deborah! I read your comment yesterday and it really made me reflect. First of all I agree with you on one thing: I don’t think Kate would respond to what’s being alleged about her and her family. Not because she doesn’t want to, or because she’s so refined and polite, but because of protocol and the respect she has for it. The reason I chose to (in my opinion, lightly) criticize Meghan and Harry in the video is because I truly find their behavior damaging. Unfortunately, the media is almost entirely following the narrative of how brave they are, how progressive it is of them to expose the monarchy, how completely terrible it must be for them to be unfairly treated by tabloids, while completely ignoring their very active role in the whole debacle. So in this case I do believe an alternative view is not only allowed, but welcome. Of course it is always elegant to be tempered and to measure one’s choice of words (and sometimes not even say anything at all), but I also think criticizing bad behavior is what keeps our society from deeming it acceptable. I’m sorry you don’t feel like my videos speak to you as much anymore, but what I really don’t want to do is put out generic content that doesn’t reflect who I am and what I really think.
