But 2 on the board, one in your hand (trips) is less valuable than a set (pocket pair with one on the board) Part of the reason why, is because a paired board gives any set a full house. So the card that gives you trips, could give someone else a boat.
#4: Take your time before folding. Pretend that you're thinking REALLY HARD about his "Range" (whatever that is). Ask questions like "Who was the pre-flop raiser?" and "How many chips you got left?..I think you cover me". Pull a really disgruntled face when you finally fold.
If you really want people to think you're really good at poker, you also have to start tanking. The longer you tank, the more they will think you are thinking about. It'll really increase their respect.

My best trick to make it look like I know what I am doing is to sit at a table with no buy-in limit, and then buy in for huge stack of chips. Like, sitting with $1000 is a $2/$4 limit hold'em.
@@michaelstern5206 in a limit game the with 4 bets at most on any one street (16 total bets in 1 hand) buying in for 250bb is an extremely high and unusual amount for most limit players I know to buy in for. Of course I could be wrong in my understanding since I play no limit and only estimate stack sizes at my friend's limit table

Just came here to say that I can do the knuckle roll trick like Jack Sparrow himself, but can't shuffle a chip stack and am afraid to practice at the table because everyone is so impressed with the knuckle roll. 😂

Sunglasses only made it look like you knew what you were doing from 2003-2010 when poker was on TV. Hoodies on the other hand are absolutely essential. Also you need to update your terms my man, you didn't even mention shit like "GTO", "Range Advantage", and "Implied Odds" I want my money back.
