No, but do I need to use AD inside SharePoint. Remember in SharePoint, you can restrict person field item to a SharePoint group. When it is that easy, why should I even go for AD group?
Thanks @AlirezaAliabadi. I have the same issue. In custom form if I use the SharePoint user group, it doesn't show the members in a drop-down. Can it be possible? Can u suggest an alternate approach how the group members should be displayed in drop-down?
