I sure wish I had this tutorial when I made my first loom knit hat. I think the proportions would have come out better, and I would have had a better idea of sizing. It's so helpful to have the number of rows as well as the measurements in inches for each section of the hat. It makes it so much easier to substitute yarn, or to calculate yardage, etc. I also appreciate all the detail you include regarding your materials in your tutorials, such as the loom size and number of pegs you are using, the weight of yarn, and so on. I am adding the PDF pattern for this hat to my list of patterns I would like to purchase from your etsy shop. Your loom knit patterns and tutorials are excellent! Thank you! :)
Do you think you could make video about how to keep stripes straight perfectly without jumping next row? And laddering? And holes is the major issues. Do you think you would make a wonderful video like you always do? My wish list is other one maybe Frenchie bulldog hat with two holes for ears? I would love to learn how? It’d be an awesome. Thanks! Been following your RU-vid and love it so far. I’m still following each project time to time.
I do 20 rows for brim in the same color always and 20 rows for the body. I change it up for the body too by doing different colors. I always use bulky 5 or 6. Walmart Joanns Hobby yarn.
This is great and thank you! Christmas is here and this is a great way to also earn some 🤑 that we ALL need right about now.. Can you make some more Cowls? 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi Jean! I am using a 41-peg round loom, but you can use any round loom. If you want to make a preemie or newborn hat, I suggest you to use the 24-peg round loom. If you want to make a baby hat, then you better use the 31-peg loom. And use the 36-peg loom for children and teenagers.
