Shalom and thank you so much because you videos are not just promoting what you do but you involve Yahweh in everything and am a single mother of a wonderful 7year old son ,am not really good at any tools staff and leave in an apartment but every time I watch your videos am blessed to know sometimes am not alone in the struggles of raising a child who is God fearing and also am encouraged to know am also on the right path at certain staff so thank you for allowing Yahweh to use you in this way .something am a city child born and raised in the city but watching you videos has made me love the country side and am glad I moved to a sort of land area in stuttgart germany and am enjoying nature more and this is amazing the quiet and being surrounded by water and forest is so calming especially because I live in an apartment makes me feel like the forest is my personal garden .Thank you for always being yourselves and your wife is truely a beautiful woman because started the journey of no make up head covering and modest dressing and such women are hard to find who love how Yahweh has created them but yet beautiful naturally .am new at this but it's been almost 2year of trails but in all Yahweh has been good to me didn't know I could survive winter without atrouser ,car and covering head both in my house and outside but here we are and God is doing it for me .May Yahweh bless you .shalom

You guys have NO IDEA how much I needed a "we're not perfect"-video. I mean, I know you're not perfect, but I felt like a miserable mom the last few days and it's so good to see other parents also struggeling and reflect and keep on going. But it's nice to see I'm not alone. I LOVE your family, your vlogs and your spirit to follow the Lord. And that woodshop, waaauw. I wish I was a boy 😜

I am guilty of all three of these as well. I see how my 4 year old son treats his 2 year old sister when he gets upset, and I realize that I do the same thing with him when I get upset. I also assume that every time she cries that he did something to her. I definitely need better, quality time with both of my littles. I am working on these and praying for help from my Heavenly Father. Thanks for sharing these thoughts. God bless your family.

You are not alone!💜 Thank y'all for your honesty! My eyes were opened to the concept of my children being a reflection of my attitude not too long ago and I just said "Thank You, God for opening my eyes to that" and I cried. Is my parenting perfect now, no, but I'm being able to stop myself quicker, pray, check my attitude and respond, instead of reacting. Yahovah continue to bless and keep y'all! 💜

I have great memories of picking berries with my two children and making jam during the summer months. Throughout the year, we would make cookies. Although the cookies may seem fairly regular, they still allowed for sharing and learning fun work. The jam was more intense, but times when we worked together as a team from start to finish

Something new we have tried is speaking out loud a positive belief about the child and their behavior, speaking about how proud Jesus is as He watches their behavior unfold- and seeing the absolute change is truly miraculous. The two of you are so very honest. Yes, it is very easy to see the defects in others, and especially our children. It's a reflection of us, which can make me feel like a failure as a parent, but usually it's all our fault. But they're heart's are so forgiving and accepting. We're all born into sin, Thank You Jesus for that hope and redemption. AND... If we had that beautiful nature running through our property, I'd never get anything accomplished! A pastor said it best once when he said, " When we work, God rests and when we rest, God works." It's so important that we labor to enter into that rest daily! He is the author and finisher of our faith! His yoke is easy and His burden is light. If we feel heavy burdened, then we are trying to make the fruit grow instead of just being connected to the vine and allowing it to blossom. Also, we can't expect perfection from our children. We have to remember what it was like being a kid and how easy it was for Satan to manipulate us into believing a lie. When we see bad behavior, we know the snake has slithered into the garden of our children's hearts and had whispered a lie into their ear. Just address the lie and replace it with the truth. We are all works in progress and the holiest, most perfect thing we can do for eachother is give more grace! May His grace abound to us all more and more!!!

I remember raising my 2 kids as a stay home mom I gave up a car and chose a lesser house to do it BUT oh so worth it! I cooked real food I taught them everything that teachers just can't Morals values helping others Praying for the sick Etc Now, they're married raising their daughters What a reward! We weren't perfect I never wanted perfection But obedience trust and loving each other was the key with Jesus in the center

I loved this video! All parts. I find myself as a gramma that I'm trying to create intentional time with my grandchildren in ways vi may not have done with my children or wish I had done differently. I like woodwork, well organised workshop Bracken. Sometimes kids mirror parents, other times they are their own version, yes. I have four, everyone with own character but all under one roof and same trainer. Outcome is diverse, but we get together to just praise God.

Forrest, you did a great job showing us around the workshop. My husband is a woodworker and made all of the free-standing cupboards in our home. I think you will end up being just as handy. I look forward to following your progress. Whatever you do, remember to do it well.

Oofda, yes. The parenting piece certainly hit home for me, especially the 'assuming the worst'. Our eldest, a 12 year old girl, is having some expected but tricky growing pains as she figures out how to navigate life as an older kid and we have NOT always nurtured her heart the ways we should have. Thank you for the conviction and encouragement to do things better. ❤️
