When it comes to diabetes and blood sugar problems (hyper and hypoglycemia), the advice we often times hear from doctors is way off. One of the reasons for this has to do with the poor level of nutritional education taught in medical schools. You see, when it comes to blood sugar, nothing is more important to understand than…Nutrition, Nutrition, & More Nutrition!
Join me LIVE on Tuesday night as I go over a comprehensive understanding of ways ways to lower blood sugar without drugs!

I am 70 years old and started doing push ups holding onto a waist high dresser. I had very little muscle strength and shoulder pain but after I stared doing them my shoulders don't hurt any more and I have a lot more strength in my arms. I started out having a hard time doing 10 of these pushups and now I can do 50 or 60. Now I need to find something that I can do to strengthen my legs.

Glad you mentioned that certain things are person specific. Grandmother couldn't have citrus but was great with grapes. Dad, her son, was the opposite. So they just watched out for each other when they were at each others houses to keep both of their blood sugars under control.

I developed diabetes, due to a vitamin A deficiency. I was still breastfeeding, when I found out, so supplementation was a challemge. However after 10 months, my vitamin A levels have increased enough to no longer have diabetes. I do still have fasting glucose levels in the 90s at times and very occasionally 101 or so, but mostly it is in the 80s and A1C is 5.1! Most doctors do not even acknowledge that this vitamin deficiency can contribute to, much less cause, diabetes, so I truly appreciate this video. I learned about Vitamin A's role in diabetes on PubMed, by reading medical studies and was thankfully able to correct it before my pancreatic beta cells died out. I wish more doctors knew the actual cause of disease states, so they could help us reverse them. A patient should never have to read medical literature to find their condition's cure.... but thank God we can, at the same time. ❤ And thank God for those, like Dr. Osborne, who are willing to stand up and shout the truth about illness and disease.

Thanks for this study. Just started adding VitB1 to my diet. So is the hydrocholride or Monitrate..this info is so helpful. Just learned more about VitB1. I was concentrating on Neuropathy and getting rid of that. Was already taking the B fat soluble vit. Should I take B3 separately (? dosage) since it comes in the B complex dosages. I think most of these B vits may be short in just one tablet. I try to take the Methylated B vits as these have been more effective for me. My Triglercirides (before I started B complex). My Leaky gut had led to all the deficiencies in my gut that you mentioned. Thank you again so much Dr. Osborne.

Thankyou for another awesome video Dr Osborne! What can I do to help with soft tissue pains. It is so painful I used to walk and run a lot, but since I got sciatica, I just finished a 5K run 3 weeks ago have this pain of soft tissues increase and can't walk too much anymore! Also what causes trigger fingers and how to fix it? Thankyou in advance!

Have you tried getting your micronutrients checked? My daughter and I have found b complex is a huge help for pain. And zinc seems to have helped my gut absorb them as well.

Thankyou so much for your reply. No I have not checked micronutrients. I never knew of this test. Do I ask my doc for this test? He is reluctant to give a requisition for testing. But I will ask him anyway! Thank you again.

Absolutely an amazing video. I am learning functional medicine currently and I haven’t got a better explanation for insulin and how we can manage things without drugs. My question is this if my client is on metformin and blood pressure medication telmasartin 40mg do we do all this and let them be on meds and monitor very closely or do we at least stop metformin and start all these things?

I was on Metformin for only 10 months (2 yrs ago)..during this time on the medication, I began keto lifestyle. Getting checkups on lab levels every three months. After my second check in with doc, she took me off Metformin and told me to keep doing what I had been doing. Fast forward, and I’m only on vitamins and supplements. Have lost over 30 pounds and blood sugar numbers are great. I also learned I am gluten intolerant, hence the keto lifestyle I began in 2021. It’s been a wonderful journey. Many blessings to Dr. Osborne and his continued sharing of such valuable knowledge.

I think my T2 was caused by MD cortisone injections into my scalp which did not help and I do not take any longer. What a waste of money, time and bodily health! No one in my immediate family has it except one obese sibling. I am not overweight by any means but need to GAIN weight.

I am totally against all medicines in chronic conditions. Beta Blockers don't block Beta Cells of Pancreas. Beta Blockers block andrenergic beta receptors which are mainly located in heart and Kidneys. Beta Blockers are prescribed by doctor for abnormal heart rythms and also for hypertension. Blocking our cellular activity is not a solution to any problem and that is why we have so many side effects of such medications. However abnormal heart rythms and hypertension can easily be cured by following Dr.Peter Osborne dietary suggestions.

@@DrOsborne Many doctors have rubbished the theory of Calories and I am also convinced that a Calorie is not a Calorie. Doctor Peter , I would appreciate if you do consider doing a detailed video exclusively on the following millets which requires soaking up to eight to ten hours before cooking. These millets are Foxtail Millet also known as Italian Millet , Kodo Millet also known as the Himalayan Millet, Little Millet also known as the African Millet, Barnyard Millet also known as Japnese or German Millet and Browntop Millet also known as the American Millet. I ❤your work and I feel that you have been underated but I am also sure you will catch up with par and beyond. No Grain is No Pain even to imagine. The whole world is on some kind of grain and I am totally against all types of Wheat, Rice, Soya , Maize and GMOs. However I am in favour of the above mentioned five positive millets and therefore requesting you for a video on the same. Thank you Dr.Osborne and I ❤your work and my condolences and regrets for the loss of your son . RIP🙏.

And I have not come across any other video / doctor or a nutritionist explaining about the type of Glutenin and Glutens and the type of proteins the grains contain like you have explained. After that video, I never miss a single video of yours . However, I feel you have not come across these five positive millets and therefore made the above request. Thank you once again.
