Just use the motor computer and harness out of a car or truck out of a junk yard. Forget the standalone.

I scored a 1980 k10 with only 40k miles. 4x4 for $4k. No rust straight body very clean Primered.. But had to sell her for bills. But the teenager I sold her to fully built her with lift kit and new paint bigger tires. Miss it always😢
