I've just started with my sentro first it was trail and error but now I've watched a bunch of videos and it helps a lot now I'm a whiz at it love it so much. I've a always wanted to knit stuff by hand never worked out for me. But with knitting machine it's great.
That's pretty easy, for the most part. I have only done 1 hat on my Sentro, but I neglected to do it so that I could have a double thickness. I'm going to try this one next. Thank you!! ❤😊
I would like to add a tip or 2. set up your hat with scrap yarn (different contrast colour) knit 8/10 rows. now knit one row only with CROCHET COTTON AGAIN OF CONTRAST COLOUR. knit your main colour for required rows for length. NOW KNIT ONE ROW ONLY WITH CROCHET COTTON. knit 8/10 rows with waste yarn of contrast colour. YOU CAN TAKE THIS OFF YOUR MACHINE NOW AND FINISH IT OFF #### NOTE BEFORE YOU TAKE IT OFF #### KNIT ONE ROW ONLY WITH CONTRAST CROCHET COTTON ##### YOU COULD START ANOTHER HAT BY REPEATING THIS TIP. YOU COULD REPEAT AS MANY AS YOU LIKE, SIT BACK AND FINISH OFF AT YOUR LEASURE. PULL THE WASTE CROCHET COTTON (AFTER the last waste on each hat to divide) tip 2 I always do a repeat of beginning start set up and have it ready handy to continue on. try it out. I’ve found that for newborns to about 6 months, the 40 pin sentro is better. For anyone older, the 48 pin is better. I definitely recommend playing with the tension and yarn you use as well, since those can make a difference in the size as well!
You did this hat the hardest way possible. Thumbs down. You must have more time to fiddle with yarn/needle than most of us. Waste of time watching this.
Hello! Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry this tutorial didn't work for you. This is the method that works best for me in making these hats to sell, as I need them to be able to withstand kids' roughness. Have a wonderful day!
wildy uncalled for, she made one decision that made it extra difficult and that was the way she casted off, other than that everything was pretty standard stuff. maybe go knit instead of typing, you have too much time on your hands.
