How to maintain a convertible roof - Lubricate rubber seals with Gummi Pflege - BMW - Fix creaking 

WOWZA! You're my new hero. I recently purchased a 2010 328i hardtop. The creaking was making me crazy. I just applied both products, went for a test drive and am overjoyed to have all the annoying creaking gone! Gummi Pflege needs to pay you more $$!

Hi Tara, does ECS tuning sell the rubber seals that go around the read window for that model. Mine is a 2007 328i hardtop convertible just like the one in the video. I cannot find the part number of the seals around the back window or any video on how to replace them.

Gummi Pflege! Thanks greatly. I see that Kroil Oil is a better penetrant than WD-40, not as quick to dry out, on top of which I'd guess its graphite provides ongoing help with friction.

Curios if this product would work well on the rubber trim around the sunroof that has micro cracks from the sun. Will it fill in those areas and be protective.... thanks in advance. And winding roads forever.... nice vibe. Cheers!

Hi Tara, I wanted to start off by saying thank you for providing us with this helpful video. I used your advice and it absolutely eliminated those exact noises in my E93 convertible. I have a question. When it rains, it starts to leak at the corner where the B pillar is, giving off a slow but constant dripping of water onto my passenger seat. Any advice at all on fixing this? I bought a trombone snake and cleaned the drain that lines the B pillar but it still drips. Thanks in advance !

How I maintain my f33. I never put my top up and it is garage kept. Problem solved. Jk.

Tara, it is literally destructive to use penetrating oil as a general purpose lubricant. Penetrating oil is extremely thin. It doesn't provide the necessary "thickness" -viscosity to separate metal from metal ... and thus lets the parts wear much too fast. Worse, it "evaporates" off quickly... Leaving NO lubricant... What you have done is given seriously bad advice AND told everyone that buying your car used is a bad option...

I am getting leaks in my e93 will this stop water getting in?
