I am here!! ! 45 this year. I want to make $200k first so that I can be debt free (under 100k in debt) and then another $100k so I can pay staff and scale my business. Then $1M so I can finally expand my savings, invest, and impact my community and other small businesses.

I just made my first million. I sell children’s book packages for a company called Loving Me Books that got me to $200K in a year. I took a portion of that money and invested into a franchise. I still work with the company and continue to invest. Diversifying your portfolio is what gets you there for sure.

Thank you for making this video, I had asked if you could make a video of how you gain the confidence to approach potential wealthy clients, gives me an idea on how to go about it.This video helps me with that confidence. Months ago I decided to start a RU-vid channel for ambitious women, and I have gained so much confidence from making those videos. My why: I am 44, have been physically disabled my whole life and recently learned the reason it feels like I’m spinning my wheels and not getting anywhere? It takes 60% more I come for someone with a spinal cord injury to live an average life! Ha! My life is SO expensive! My wheelchair costs $8k. But I don’t want to just sit in my wheelchair and do nothing else. I want to ride my bikes, snow ski, water ski, travel, etc. I have no idea how much more time I have to live (yes, no one does) and I am tired of being broke. I just want to live a decent life. If the average income today is $50k, I need $80k annually. That income would be amazing! My challenge? Figure out how to make that part time from home so I can take breaks and get off my buttocks, and literally sleep if I need it for my health. That is my challenge.

I've become SO MUCH MORE than I used to be - out of dire need. I am still learning daily FOR HOURS sometimes, as you mentioned. I can't afford to do any courses right now but I WILL eventually figure out how to make enough to pay for that first course AND THEN I would love to SHOW all my family and friends why I used to sit in front of RU-vid and Facebook, using them as learning and research tools to get ahead. They don't know what they don't know and it's been a hard part convincing them that there's a code to be cracked in this current digital era and it's right around the corner. They all think I am nuts sitting here but I taught myself how to build a website, a funnel, make a lead magnet using my new canva skills, etc. I am getting there very slowly but going in the right direction. (and I used to be afraid of computers) Anyone can do anything if they decide today is the day and each day I will show up.

Thw thing that comes to mind is going back to school to become a therapist, something I always wanted to be, except it never seemed lucrative unless I could go into my own practice, but that’s expensive. I’m 41 and just started working again after taking a year off. My husband and I have a quarter million between investments and have begun investing again since I started working. He retires from the military in less than 2 years and I’m hoping we can have another $100k before then. We planned to have a half million but my year off put a halt in our investments but the investments still grew. That’s the power of investing!!!

It inspired me to have a dream to invest in women entrepreneurs especially in my home country of South Africa and their businesses one day. In the meantime, I still need to reach my own first $1m. I'm having a light bulb moment. I always wanted to be a millionaire from age 21, I'm now 37 heading for 40 and I haven't been there as yet. But I have been feeling it in my gut for years. I believe strongly that I am going to be a millionaire by age 40

Just turned 43 and while I'm very happy and thankful, there is more that I want, particularly for my children. So my work now has a lot to do with them. But as for 40s being good, they are! Better than 30s, which were better than 20s. I'm looking forward to my 50s.
