I made such a generator, it actually produces enough power for 200 000 people. I used a motor from a washing machine, and steel wire because it can withstand greater loads. I recommend using stronger "flour and water" glue.

It is a big lie. I built it exactly as described and my voltage was 221V only, the frequency was 53Hz, but the worst part was the power - 9150W only. Not 10,000W as assured in the title. Shame on you!

I won't speak to the effectiveness of the device, but those copper wires are actually coated wires, you ca tell by the slight color difference between the end of the wires and the wrapped portion that the connected ends are scrubbed clean of their coating. the bars are not charged with electricity, so connecting them without washers wouldn't matter unless the coating rubbed off the wires, at which point the effectiveness of the coil would drop sharply since the lower path of resistance would become the bar.

By the way, I think that black thing is a diode. From what I see, it appears that the spinning motor induces electricity in the stacked coils and that electricity is immediately fed back to the motor to drive it.
