In three years, I went from having absolutely no experience in 3D Animation to working at DreamWorks Animation Studios teaching just about all of the 3D software used to make movies! After 2 years there, I left to try freelance / independent content creation on RU-vid for awhile, before I head back to Feature Film!

Is it easy to show the face turning and other camera angles of the character like back view ,front view etc

Yeah actually, you pretty much just make a variation of the photoshop file at different angles for the sides/back of the head, and then trigger them either by your webcam real head angle, or with the trigger buttons :)

I just spent 29 hours animating a 3 min video with template! I was so frustrated that I came across this video looking for alternatives to AE bc it is soooo slow and crashed all the time and I found this gem of video. I saved subbed and liked this video just bc of the happiness it gave me knowing this exists and still in Adobe cloud!! Thank you man, I appreciate it!

Thank you so much Wade. I can see that this will cut down on the time and cost of making animation. I have been wanting to make an animated feature film without going frame by frame, that gives me artistic freedom, that strikes a balance between simple-looking but not too simple, and it looks like I have found the software I've been looking for. You can combine different tools. You can also get real puppets and add them to video to subsititue

Wow, thank you for posting this, I can't draw for anything and have been wanting to start a RU-vid show, I am familiar with Premiere editing but when it came to AE and manually animating I was completely lost even after taking a class in film school. I have been writing scripts for a TV show that I want to create. I have been thinking about it for a long time and even drawn the characters but have no idea how to make them into animated videos, but I have very high standards for how I want it to look. for your first question he said that there are keyboard shortcuts to move the hands of your character and i dont know the answer to your second question i hope this helped

I got this a while ago. But I never felt like I had the time to move over from Cartoon animator to this as I have everything so streamlined in it. But since their live face plugin has been acting up a lot. And I love the idea of being able to press keys to make the animations and different moods of the character without having to go back and do it after completing a 20 minute screaming session in a way too high pitched voice.(Yes I am pretty much out of voice for a day after 1 video). It is time!

Hi, I’m looking for just an easy basic cartoon character software for music videos. Something like from this video that would automatically trace the lyrics of the songs and move along with it, but if i also want to move the body of the cartoon or Creat my own character will it be enough with just the CH soft wear or do I also need to buy other software as well ?
