If you wanted to make it more shelf stable You could cover them with cling wrap and poke tooth picks into the bars. Once cooled pull off the cling wrap then wax dip the bars like they do to cheeses to seal the exterior in a coating of pure wax. When it's cooled pull out the toothpicks and gently massage the break in the seal to close it or put a drop of molten wax in to seal it.
Thanks so much for the video!! I have extremely dry itchy skin on my legs and what the doctor recommended (aveeno lotion and dove bar soap) didn’t cut it. Lately I’ve just been using almond oil or jojoba oil instead of lotion with better results, but I still get itchy although less so. I miss lotion though, hoping this helps more than just the oil. Do you know if I could put vanilla extract into it instead of essential oil?
