OMG this is so cool (I've seen the conversations before but having an actual kit makes it so easier) However, I crash so many times that instead of buying a Hero 7 Black and the kit I'll just set $300 on fire instead. 🤣🤣😉
Just commented on your other video about this video guide! I paused the video on 20:29, but can't figure out where you have + & - soldered on. Doesn't seem to be matching the BetaFPV diagram.
Very nice! Regarding the led, its 3 flashes on, 5 flashes off. I'll be posting my umma85X deep dove build video soon. A bit lighter and less top heavy than this approach but much more of a pain to build.
It sad that if you wanna buy spare parts for gopro they all cost more than refurbished/used gopro. For example mainboard ~75-100$+ and lenses 35-50$+ PS "Complete GoPro Lite Camera" link doesn't work
Someone needs to do this with an iPhone. Even the old iPhone have 4k 60fps with optical image stabilization. But sticking one on the front of a quad is like putting a big sail to catch the wind. Imagine if we could get the phone body to lay flat on the top of the quad but have an extension cable to run the camera to the front of the quad.
CarossionX is my friend and I don't care if it's a dust magnet, & I hope to see it come with a screw kit to replace everything with hex head bolts/screws. 🥃cheers🍻
Yes, it's the same board dimensions so it will fit the case. However, the V2 case is out now. This V1 case is discontinues. I believe the V2 case will also work.
Albert big fan of yours :D .. thank you for this upload .. i will get these modds for my gopro.. i have already fried a board.. hopefully these will fix me frying boards lol
Hi, I have a question about the Gopro Naked. I've been looking for information on how to do the Binding in my gopro with the app. I had done the Binding but by mistake I deleted the Gopro application, therefore I cannot do the Binding again. Could you help me by suggesting what I can do please ...thank you
Hello I have a problem with gopro hero black7, i.e. I don't want to charge with a usb cable. after connecting the cable to the charger, the LEDs turn red, but the battery is not charging (the battery is functional because the external charger is charging normally). I can download the data from the camera with a USB cable connected to the computer normally. do you know what may be damaged?
Thanks for another great video Albert. I'm new to the naked GoPro scene, I'm looking at the new betafpv 85x or 95x lite made for this case. Which would you recommend?
Hey Albert, great video, but question...is it needed to solder a 2.4 ghz antenna to the wifi antenna area? Im seeing videos that suggest this so it doesnt burn out. Is this needed and if I dont, what would happen?
Love your videos, great as always. :) I only wonder, if this Bec board compatible with the hero 5 as well? Or should I put the hero 5 components into that case at least?
does it work with gopro hero 5 i had to fix mine and i bought a broke gopro on ebay lcd cracked but i saved the motherboard and camera could i use it since i did not find a use for it yet - Note i just checked and the gopro hero 5 board is way diffrent from the one ur using
@@AlbertKimTV Neither have I.. lol That’s really my only concern now. I love getting out early catching the fog rising.. wondering if that mist would mess with it. I’ll keep researching and see if I can find someone who has. Thanks so much for answering back! 👊
Hey Albert! Don't know if you'll see this, I really hope you do as I am having troubles with my Hero 6. Before I downgraded to 1.6 I was able to switch the wifi from 5GHz to 2.4GHz, but after the downgrade that option is no where to be found. I also went back to 2.1 and back to 1.6 several times to get that option to change it again but now it still does not show that option. Ideas? I have been searching for an answer for days now
That's cool, but it would be better if the board could be separated from the lens module. If you could safely tuck away the board into the frame, then it would be much more durable. Need some kind of extansion cable for the lens module. Also if the len's module's feed could be split, then it could be mounted where the fpv camera is.
Short clip on my Instagram linked in the description. I have flown it several times already but have not had time to edit the footage and upload to RU-vid. These videos take some time to make so hang in there...
Nice vid AK! Will this work with a gopro hero 5 black? And if so, any footage limitations the gopro hero 5 has vs the 6? e.g. in short, superview, stabilization, etc?
@@AlbertKimTV thanks Kim. So many exciting things coming this year. Still undecided to go for this mod or just straight get the insta360 go. Love your videos
Awesome video. Thanks. I was just on the BETAFPV website to order one of the kits for myself. According to the product description on the website, the 'GoPro Lite' kit will work for GoPro HERO 6 and HERO 7 models. In your video you indicated the kit will work with the HERO 6. ???
Thank you for your guides, I also make naked GoPro according to your guide. But How can I control GoPro setting from my phone. I can't Connect with my phone. Please do tutorials for guys like me. Thank you
How many amps does the camera pull in operation? I'm just thinking that added weight plus more current draw from the quad battery means shorter flight time. That doesn't matter if you're flying a 5" or something, I was thinking more about smaller quads running 850mAh batteries.
I think I read somewhere it's about 1.5A at 4K/60. Shorter flight times are certain with the amp draw and extra weight, but what is the alternative for this quality level of footage. If your goal is racing or flight time, don't try to get 4k video.
@@AlbertKimTV Well, if it's *that* low, then who cares!=D I thought it was much more, which would've cut the flight time quite drastically. One more question though, if you throw a battery, or forget to stop the recording before unplugging, is the GoPro reliable at being able to save the footage regardless? Thanks for this video, I didn't know that anyone sold a ready-made product for this. I saw ummagawd's video a few weeks back, but it looked way too fragile for my crashing style. This though, could be a good reason to get a GoPro.
