Just found your site - should have come to visit when I visited Albert Dock a couple of years ago on a HMS Liverpool Communicators reunion. Used to tie knots and make things when on a minesweeper back in the late 60's. The lockdown has given me the urge to try again and be creative using knotwork etc. Your videos are excellent and if a 'sparker' can follow them they must be good. Many thanks and I look forward to viewing many more.
So glad I found this video! Your explanation and step by step process gave me the ability to easily tie the 4 bight, 5 lead turks head. Looking forward to more knotting videos...
Their explanations are very simple to follow because they are based on regular patterns, really fantastic. Thank you very much and best regards from Panama. Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I was having trouble getting this knot and your video is by far the BEST instructional video on the Turk's Head. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Thank you for the film the Turks head knot I wanted to use it on a heaving line but never learned how to do it my dad was a boson on salvage vessels during World war II he taught me how to splice loops then splice the end of a rope so that it doesn't fray thank you I will study your film
