Hi everyone, thanks for letting me know about the music. I am not able to change/don't know how to edit it as this was made on iMovie a long time ago. I will be sure to not make this mistake again, thank you. Please be kind.
I never knew a gel coat product existed, this changes everything! I have been wanting to make a 1:3 scale silicone body for a Smartdoll for ages, but couldn't get my head around how fiberglass would work as it wouldn't capture the details. Very helpful video, thanks!
I recommend you mixing a resin slurry (peanut butter) with talc or any other filler. It will avoid any air gaps, pockets, & bubbles. That part has a lot of deep grooves. Put a good coat after the gel coat, making the surface flat. Then fiberglass.
Absolutely. I use cabosil, 1/64" milled fibers and ceramic powder to make my paste. The fibers ensure strength and the ceramic ensures a good cosmetic profile
Hi firstly i want to say thank you for taking the time to make this video. It's really helpful. You have a great voice and come across like a good teacher. I cant handle the "feel good music" I think your channel will be way more impacting and successful without it. Much love ❤️
This video is amazing ! lovely description and demonstration, I will share with all my fiberglass buddies, please use this music in all your videos in the future !! just to annoy people.
Great video, the music is too loud though. You should re edit and remove the music or keep the voice over audio at the same level and make the cheap rock and roll music much lower.
Here's an idea. Why don't you put the fiberglass on the mask and then put the resin on top? The resin is going to soak the fiberglass anyway and it keeps your area just a little cleaner
