I've been making wrapped loops for years, and they've turned out pretty well, but I almost always run out of room. Your tip about moving the pliers just a little beyond the initial bend is golden. Thanks so much!

Hi new subscriber, just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU. I have made a few elastic bracelets but wanted to try the kind that you have shown today, I have tried books but find it difficult to follow some of the instructions but you explain so well and make it so easy to follow your directions. Looking forward to other video's. I have saved this one so as I can go back again and not miss any of your new ones.

You can try a different flush cutter -- one that makes really clean edges -- and also be sure to pinch them down so they don't touch the skin. This is a great one! www.jtv.com/product/xuron-tapered-head-micro-shear-tm-flush-cutter/PLIER120?mcid=XSOjsyt

Hello I luv your videos do u have any problems with the wire snagging your hair or clothes from the ends I make jewelry for customers & just wanted to know the best way to tuck the wires so they won't get in the way ...ty so much in advance ❣
@JewelSchool
@JewelSchool 2 года назад
This is always a huge problem, yes! Where you can, especially when making loops (like in the line ring tutorial for instance), you can flush cut the edge a little and roll that wire in a little more to help get it flush. As far as wire wrapping, it's trial and error. Try getting some tweezer nose pliers. The tips are a bit smaller and they really let you get into tight places to tuck in that wire so it doesn't snag. Good Luck! The Line Ring: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o-GgHGRJys8.html

Hey Melissa! Although Susan doesn't mention it here, you can use any clasp you want to finish this bracelet. Here are a few links to lobster and even magnetic jewelry clasps. You would just attach it the end of your bracelet loops with a jump ring. Good luck! 20g wire will probably be a bit on the malleable side. You need something stiffer to really hold the shape of the links. You can definitely do it -- it just won't be as sturdy!

@JewelSchool
@JewelSchool 2 года назад
Hi Jennifer! Susan "marks" the end of her round nose plier with a permanent marker so she can keep the size of the rings the same throughout the project. As long and you coil your wire to that "mark, " every loop will be the same size. Hope this helps!
