Materials:
8mm pearl beads (approx 1,000)
slightly stretch string, medium gauge
measuring tape
scissors

Hello, yes to add a new thread I knot a new thread making a few knots. You can even make knots in a few places.

Hi, I used a medium gauge of stretch string, no particular brand. Can find at a craft store. Do not stretch the string as you work, just hold your work taut together so the beads are not loose. If you stretch the string as you work you won't be able to stretch the top on to fit :) Hope this helps.
